Last night my husband and I dined at Grapevine Pizzaria and Restaurant on Maple Rd in Longmeadow. We've gotten plenty of pizzas from there in our 4 months since moving here, but this was our first time eating there and it was jammed!!! That tells me that the food is good, with so many people willing to wait for a table.We chose to sit at the bar for our meal because I was starving ? and I'm so glad we did! I got to witness the level of professionalism with the staff in dealing with the constant stream of customers waiting for a table, the constant stream of customers picking up their take out orders and the constant ringing of the phone for customers placing orders.Every person that I saw working there always had a smile on their face, were kind and helpful to everyone, engaged in easy conversation and made every person there feel as if they were the most important person there. I overheard one worker say that she had been there since 9:30am (nearing a 10 hour shift at that point). She chatted easily with customers, joked with them about their orders and, I kid you not when I say she answered the phone with a smile on her face every single time!I'm gushing here because I was just so impressed with the staff there. If they were stressed because it was so busy, I certainly didn't see it!Also, the food was REALLY good too ?

The Greek salad with grilled chicken was excellent! The fries and pita and hummus were also very good!

Food was over spiced with garlic, so much so it was all you could taste. The food was practically inedible. Our waitress was wonderful. Enjoyed the service and ambiance was very nice.

Came with my grandparents who wanted to take me out for dinner. We have a mutual friend who comes regularly and highly recommended it. I really wanted to grade them on their pizza but wasn't feeling it today. I went with a cup of clam chowder and parmesan crusted pork chops. Chowder was ok, had better had worse. Pork chops were better than good. Moist bite with that crisp crust. Roasted potatoes that came with the dinner were ok, needed some seasoning and or butter. I wanted no part in ordering dessert (was beyond tired and wanted to get home and go to bed) but my grandmother ordered the oreo pie which the couple bites I had I know I would have enjoyed it all to myself. Had good service. Our waitress at the bar was very polite and catered to our needs. I would certainly recommend getting reservations as it was packed and the online orders were flying out the door. Don't be surprised if you have to wait for your meal.

We were very surprised that the place wasn't busy but soon found out why.The restaurant itself looks pretty decent and it was clean. The waitress was moderately nice as well.The big problem was the food. My wife ordered a cheese pizza which was very obviously a store-bought frozen pizza. I asked for the gyro deluxe. What is a deluxe gyro, you might ask. The deluxe part are the literally 15 fries it came with.It didnt taste bad but for the extra money, I expected more than the tiny portion of fries.My kids had Mac&Cheese and a burger.The noodles were warmed up canned goods served in a plastic dish.My sons burger was pretty good, I'll give em that. And my wife's cosmopolitan was so strong that even I raised my eyebrows when I tasted it. I'm pretty sure they left the cranberry juice out completely...Needless to say, we won't be back.

Extremely disappointed with the steak and cheese subs I ordered tonight. The peppers and onions were wet and soggy as if they were boiled instead of grilled. The cheese, which was provolone instead of the usual American, was laid on top of the steak and not meted with the steak and vegetables. This sub was disappointing and not worth the money
