Had the blue raspberry margarita, was delightful (more places should make this flavor). Had the original Tijuana Caesar salad with grilled flank steak. We also had pork belly tacos. They were really good as well (not pictured; got eaten to fast).
We drove 40 minutes for a special and different dining experience because it was highly recommended by friends but did not meet our expectations. Ambiance was great. The restaurant decos were awesome. It’s a very casual place that serves casual non authentic Mexican food such as their chicharron which is something like fried flour chips as opposed to the original fried pork belly. Why do you call that chicharron? We mostly had apps like the veggie empanada, the wedge chorizo...
Nice atmosphere, lovely staff, and great food. I will come back for the plantain duo.
Vegetarian options: Not a huge vegetarian selection but the dishes I had were very good: plantain dúo and cauliflower tacos.
