Found this gem on accident. Went to big y for a wrap. Waited 10 minutes for the sorriest wrap ever. Decided I wasn't going to buy it and went across the street to the kitchen. Roast beef with special sauce is awesome. Service incredible. Highly suggest trying this place. Delicious ?

At first glance, the menu may seem limited in options. Obviously, the owner went with quality over quantity. Best Reuben I have ever had in my life! Samantha is an excellent bartender - attentive and friendly. I was there on Wednesday for Karaoke night. Super fun group of patrons. That was the most fun I've had in years! Thank you, Dave!

Google Maps classifies this as a "breakfast restaurant". If you are in the habit of having your breakfast in the afternoon that may be true. However note that this establishment does not open until noon each day. Twice I have followed the Google designation to the Kitchen expecting to get breakfast, only to find that I would have to wait a few hours for the restaurant to open.

Dave, the owner, is very personable. And the Wednesday night Karaoke crew is the best. Try the Ripper.

The Kitchen is an example of simplicity being a good thing. I felt very comfortable here, we had a quiet lunch, very fairly priced, with very friendly staff. Nothing complicated or extravagant here, simple, high quality food cooked to order. I had a Reuben (excellent), my wife had chicken and waffles (excellent), and the coleslaw is some of the best I’ve had in a while. If I lived nearby I would be a regular.

Was in the mood for brunch and stumbled across this spot in the center of town. Wasn't sure if it was a bar or diner, an interesting mix of both I think. The guy at the front was mildly helpful and we sat ourselves. I ordered a simple breakfast if two eggs over medium with home fries and toast. It came out fairly quick and the guy running the food (and cooking I assume) was pretty accommodating. The coffee left much to be desired with little variety of what you can get or even what you can put in it. The vibe is more bar than anything else, the service kind of follows suit. Not sure I'd come back if anything else was an option. Just "meh".

What a disappointment!! We have loved the sandwiches at the kitchen for years and have been willing to pay high prices there...but yesterday was simply awful. We did takeout and one Rueben arrived on dry bread seemingly ungrilled... same with the grilled cheese sandwich... literally unmelted cheese... the salad and other sandwich were also sub par... not sure what's up and wonder if this is a trend here...maybe ok at a diner but at around 15 bucks a pop for lunch this was bad... wonder if it would have happened if we were eating in rather than taking out.

Good food but more of a take out place.

Three stars because the way they get your order is clunky. The food was pretty good. More deli style. I'd rather someone come and take my order.

I don’t recommend trying to order over the phone. Was put on hold and left there for 11 minutes whilst the person took other orders and had a discussion about their karaoke night

My burger was the size of piece of paper. Fries were greasy and refried.

The food is very good but there business hours are terrible. They are closed a lot. And close in the middle of the day for a few hour break nearly every day & today ( on Sunday) these business hours Said they are open to 3pm so I called them at 2.03 and made plans with other people to meet them over here to eat, but the man who answered the phone when I called said they just got done now & were closed? So I had to call everyone back & find another place to meet on a quick notice which is a real pain. The food and place is very good here but it seems everytime I try to go here they are closed or closing & they do not keep there business hours & this is not good for business. I will still come here to eat if I can, but I will not plan to meat others here again as it is inconvenient for this to happen.
