Absolutely fantastic bowl of ramen. Broth is amazing, and the pork belly is divine. Really cool place to come and hang out with friends.

I was there at 7:30 last night. The waitress was very rude as she completely acted like I didn't exist and focused her attention solely on my boyfriend. I asked for a spoon, she came back with it and handed it to my boyfriend instead of me. I asked for the check, she came back and handed it to my boyfriend. She saw me grab the check and after I placed my card, she took it and came back with the receipt and still handed it to him even after seeing that I was paying for the meals. I left a tip and she smiled at my boyfriend and told him to have a nice day and when I responded she completely ignored me and not once acknowledged me... it was very weird and unprofessional. Not only that, I asked for mild spice level and when I got the soup, I could barely eat it because it was so spicy that it burned my lips and throat and made my eyes water. My boyfriends spice level was high and even he said my soup was a lot hotter than his. It was one of the weirdest experiences I had at a restaurant.

Vibrant, authentic, tasty. Came here on a Friday night and it was packed and noisy, but exciting. Ramen is nice (large portion). Wings are spicy and delicious, okinomiyaki tastes like broccoli.

Incredible, flavorful, memorable ramen that we will be coming back for over and over again. Tonkotsu was just amazing. The pork belly was still crispy, the mushrooms were savory, the noodles had an excellent chew, and the broth was something I wish I could bottle and save forever. The roasted duck bao bun was similarly delicious with a slight sweetness and a slow building heat that kicked things off perfectly. I really can't say enough positive things about 1981. Delicious and worth it.

When I came in with my son (2 years old), he had Teado drink in his hand. I also wanted to sit a different table vs. the waitress directed us to. That moment I already felt a weird vibe from the waitress when I requested a table at the window. She didn’t give us the table we wanted but directed us to another table. After seating, I asked for a 1981 Ramen WiFi password and she told me to select Teado WiFi instead of the restaurant WiFi. She told me the password is ‘iloveteado’. It DID NOT work but at this point, I gave up asking for things. It’s very clear that there is 1981 Ramen guest WiFi as well, but I already sense weirdness that she asked me to use Teado WiFi . It was snowy outside so I just accepted having a bowl of soup with my toddler then leave. When I was feeding my son, the waitress came over and gave me a check before I asked for it. It was not crowded. At this point, I felt the implication of being asked to leave although I did nothing to disturb anyone. I still took my time for another 10 minutes because I can’t feed my toddler quicker, and I pay for my soup. Soup was good but doesn’t taste happiness as I often feel when I eat ramen. It could have been affected due to my customer service experience. The message I get from this place is “don’t order Teado, get a drink from the restaurant, and don’t you dare choose where to seat.” I tipped her right regardless. But won’t come back.

Whole welcoming experience was blown out of proportion just because I decided to sit where I chose with my son who I was carrying in my arm. Place was not busy when this occurred. Gyozas were fried to death and hard to bite. Worse I had anywhere. Ramen meats lacked flavor. Overall place was average. Could improve in many areas.

We typically go to this ramen place often and the food and service is usually very good!Last night, I got the chicken ramen and I asked for it not spicy.I got it, and it was spicy. Also, all that was in it was corn, scallions, noodles and, chicken! Nothing else! It was missing so many ingredients! 17 dollars for that?! Wasn't very happy. Also, it can be very loud in there to. Usually doesn't bother me, but does make it difficult to have a conversation.

Service was attentive and pleasant, quite busy on a Tuesday night, loud. Ordered the cucumber app, it was okay but definitely not worth $9 for 10 small pieces. Spicy miso was good but I've had better, pricey and it only had 2 pieces of chashu. I also asked for extra broth and was charged $2 more and it had the same amount of broth my BF had for just a regular order. Pricey ramen for this area, but if you're in a pinch and have no other choices, this place isn't bad, just expect to pay more.

Our waitress was nice, she made sure we had our best experiences. The ramen was good, but it lacked a bit of spiciness.

Get the sticky coliflower bites to start. You won't regret it. The Bao , pork and duck was Delicious. The ? was meh, $17 for soup was a expensive. There was no taste to it and I ordered the spicy.
