Oh my! We asked our front desk clerk at our hotel , Sonesta Select, for a good place to eat. Before I could finish the sentence she told me Cameo Diner. Holy Smokes! I am so very glad I asked! Wonderful food, excellent service, fair prices, quintessential Boston. It’s really is like Cheers! Everyone knew everyone and made you feel like they knew you, as well! The whiteboard rants in the window of this diner make me think someone has an anger management problem. Maybe should get that looked into. Also makes me not want to walk through the door for fear of being blasted by a rant of the day. I've heard the food here is quite good, just not sure how the whiteboard rants would fare as a side dish next to the eggs and bacon.
