The Cameo is a well established food staple in the Merrimack valley ! The food , the service and the atmosphere is great. Best Irish Benedict around and if you want to indulge get the kitchen sink omelet. The owners and staff are the best people and always pleasant.
I finally decided to try this restaurant for the 1st time today. This restaurant has been here for decades, I noticed alot of old photos hanging on the wall of this establishment. A few friends of mine shared on fb that cameo diner had a good breakfast sandwich called the fat kid. As soon as I walked into this restaurant literally every staff member inside greeted me asking how I was doing? (Most restaurants do not do that these days.) Oh my! We asked our front desk clerk at our hotel , Sonesta Select, for a good place to eat. Before I could finish the sentence she told me Cameo Diner. Holy Smokes! I am so very glad I asked! Wonderful food, excellent service, fair prices, quintessential Boston. It’s really is like Cheers! Everyone knew everyone and made you feel like they knew you, as well! If you are in Lowell, do yourself a favor and eat here! We had breakfast and like I said absolutely amazing...
