Moved away 22 years ago, first bite brought on a wave of nostalgia. The food and service were, as always, excellent.

We were headed to a wedding and needed a place for breakfast. We made a reservation day before and 15 people were graciously accommodated. The manager Kelly and our waitress Deb were awesome. They made us feel very welcomed as our party arrived and throughout our meal. Very friendly and the service was great. Constantly checking to be sure we didn’t need for anything. The food was delicious with a great variety to choose from. Would highly recommend

Vegetarian options: I am vegetarian and had no problem ordering

Dietary restrictions: They were very accommodating by substituting one item for another

Parking: No issue. Place was busy but no problem parking. Parking out front or in an adjacent lot

Kid-friendliness: 1 1/2 year old with us. Got her food out before everyone. Waitress chatted with her and even sang her “ these boots were made for walking “ when she saw little cowboy boots she just received

One of Lowell's first of a remaining few historic diners, The Owl remains a gold standard and known to all in the City! Easy to find and park, bustling, family-friendly, fast, good and cheap and a great place to hold meetings, or court! The ham and eggs, with the beans!

Always a great experience, servers warn you if they're down cooks but keep you informed when your food is coming.

Not open middle of the day. I don't think it functions anymore.

Went here for a late brunch on Sunday. The food was great. Our waitress came by at least 4 times before we could place our order to ask if we were ready. That was a little weird, but otherwise a great experience. Lots of local crowds. Tips are cash only. There's an ATM on the premises. If that's out of order you could add it to your card.
