Used to live right off of Gorham street and would have Georges weekly! Miss it! Go out of our way to get take out there now. Great customer service always and friendly staff. Everything is delicious from the steak or chicken kebab dinners that rice with the red sauce, to the steak and cheese subs.. seriously THE BEST!

Ordered a steak and cheese torpedo. Plenty of meat on nice roll. BUT...the sandwich was very dry. The meat had all the moisture completely cooked out. I had been looking forward to trying them but definitely disappointed. It was lunchtime. Pretty busy but service was good. People very pleasant and obviously knew many of th customers. I might try one more time incase this was just a bad day.
This place is magical. Best chicken salad in the world. Best pastrami ANYWHERE. Grilled chicken is perfect. Turkey clubs on wheat toast with perfectly cooked bacon every time....and the owners are the nicest people....like I said....magical! You can't find places like this anymore.

I hate to do this to them because the owners are nice and the place is very clean but people should know what they'll get for their hard earned $14, a really low quality cheesesteak very skimpy on anything other than the meat. It is without a doubt the meatiest cheese steak I have ever had, and I once had 26 cheesesteaks in Philadelphia. But you are just getting a large amount of dry and stringy and poorly seasoned meat that tastes like liver, obviously quite low quality. And they put so little cheese on i literally thought they had forgotten to put it on. They were nice enough to give me another one with "extra" cheese. This had more cheese but they don't even know how to properly melt it and distribute it, it was in nasty gobs at the bottom of the meat. And any other toppings you get are so skimpy in proportion to the meat you hardly know they're there. Really a bad cheesesteak, I think they're coasting on their reputation.

Very welcoming staff. Delicious grilled chicken sub lettuce tomato olives. On the side: hot peppers. I got a bottle of diet Dr Pepper. Total around 17 dollars using credit card. You save a little bit if you pay by cash.
