Great food and very authentic. For me it's too spicy and make my stomach feeling down for the rest of the day.

This is one of my favorite places in Lowell. Authentic Laos food and actually spicy! I definitely recommended coming here and helping out the small businesses in Lowell! :)

The owners are very very nice, and there are good tables to sit at on the sidewalk outside, and there is a nice selection of foods and drink.

A Laotian gem in downtown Lowell! The Mee Kathi curry soup is a must-try, and their banh mi are absolutely brimming with flavor - best banh mi in Lowell? Maybe! I can also recommend the sparkling lemonade - so refreshing! Generous portions and a warm welcome await you here.

Visiting from NYC, brother is planning to move nearby. The food was excellent. We had the sausage appetizer, not greasy at all and has a bit of tangy taste that I enjoyed. The sticky rice that accompanied it was delicious. The chicken noodle had a thicker type of rice noodle which I never tried before but I liked it, it was similar to Korean kalguksu. The calamari ceviche which I thought would be raw turned out to be pan fried with vegetables but was soft and delicious. The bahnmi was great as well. Overall, the couple that runs the restaurant cook all the food in an authentic way and I was very happy with all the food.

I want to start this review with their strongest asset. The food. Lao'De Cafe's authentic Lao delicacies are absolutely phenomenal. I cannot find the right words to describe how perfect their Nam Khao is and how savory and perfectly spicy their Lao Sausages taste. However, no matter how perfect their food is, operating an establishment that wants to earns the price (food here is not cheap) and reputation they command requires both food and SERVICE to be at a level that is deserving. I would have given this place 5 stars had it not been for the inconsistency of their service. I usually order to go, and for the most part I am able to quickly pay and move along. However, recently, I ordered and there was no one to ring up my order. I waited 15-20 minutes for the person who was supposed to ring me up to return as the older chef there did not know how to operate the system. There was a sign at the front saying "back by 3 PM", it was 3:15 when we arrived, it was 3:35 when we left. I know it sounds like I am being harsh and nitpicky but I do enjoy the food here I would like for them to work on their service in order to improve. Otherwise, I highly recommend having Lao food here.

I picked up an order of the Nam Khao and it was DELICIOUS. I've never had anything quite like it. This is my first foray into Laotian food and I'm so excited to try more of their dishes!
