Lowell House of Pizza is a neighborhood favorite. If you grew up in the Acre neighborhood of Lowell circa 1990's, you remember George's pizza restaurant. Lowell House still serves George's pizza and it tastes just as good now as it did back then! The owner of Lowell House is a super friendly guy and is super dedicated to his business. Great overall pizza shop in Lowell.

Unique style pizza with the toppings under the cheese. I got a loaded pizza and it weighed like 5 pounds. Steak n cheese with onions and peppers was average. Tasty pizza, I’ll get it again! I didn’t try their traditional Greek style pizzas so I’m unable to comment.

We had high expectations visiting this place for the first time... and last. First off, it's a small place, there's no "sit down table service". No, you order at the counter. We should have turned around right there. (This place needs a good cleanup too. There are stacks of soft drinks and various inventory all over the place...) Anyway, we went in. Ordered "Steak Tips Dinner". The lady behind the counter said "Oh the menu on the wall is old and inaccurate, not all items are available". So, no steak tips... ok. How about "Seafood dinner?" Nope. So, the giant menu on the wall is a symbolic menu dating from who knows when. Of course, they should have pizza, but the prices are obviously incorrect. ($11.90 for a small, $11.50 for a large). No, the real price for a small mushroom pizza is $12.95, and $15.95 for a large. OK, not too bad. So, mushroom pizza it was. I must admit, that pizza was surprisingly really good! I didn't expect that. Sauce was good, plenty of mushrooms. Really good! So yeah, maybe, maybe I will go back to pick up a mushroom pie some day.

I normally order the spaghetti meatball and sausage and have a familiarity with the sauce. Today the sauce smelled expired and tasted bad and does not seem like it should have been served. I tried to call but the place doesn't pick up. My last few orders has gone down hill both food and service
Pizza came poorly made, undercooked, and falling apart. The person then refused to speak to me about it hung up and said he had no manager. If you go here you'll see no pizzas just slop they stole from pig farms.*Had to add I called back after posting; he cussed me out for asking for a refund. The male said it wasn't his problem or fault even though he singlehandedly made the food.*

It has been about a year since I have been getting a sub here.Here is what I know:I get the same sandwich everytime- small cheeseburger sub, not Toasted, lettuce, Pickles and mustard.Every single time, it's perfect. I really appreciate the Dijon mustard instead of yellow. I love the fact that when you call to order, they don't tell you a length of time or ask you your name, but when you get there, they know who you are and the sandwich is hot.The bread, my god the bread--10/10.If you haven't had a sub here, run there now.
