The food was delicious. But the delivery guy was rude as hell and automatically still took a 24% tip. Rude if you ask me. Although I always tip 20% with his rude demeanor I was only going to give him 10% but he still took 24%

Not a lot of places you can say you've been going to for over 20 years! We order a ton of food from Mandarin Lowell and it's always delicious. I have a lot of happy memories here. I remember getting little toys and stickers from the cute old fashioned coin op machines that were in the lobby when I was little. There's also usually a dedicated corp of regulars at the bar laughing and having a good time. It adds to the restaurant's charm.

Super Cozy Chinese restaurant! Family owned (I believe) the food is always hot & wicked fresh. The portions are ginormous & always delicious! The bar is tiny but, staff is awesome & the drinks are killer!!!

The food was by far the best Chinese I've had in a while. Was visiting my city after years so it was very refreshing to have good Chinese. Had to give service a 3 because the delivery service was rude to my wife and almost dropped the food, the dine in service was superb. Will definitely come there again during my next visit.

Waste of $44. Ordered a plate with chicken wings. They gave me one wing split in half. Plate costed $17. Meat was super small portioned in all the plates I ordered.

I've ordered take-out food several times now, and the food has been consistently good. The food has been fresh, tasty, and well prepared, and always hot. The portions are generous, and the overall quality has been great. This is my new go-to restaurant for high-quality Chinese take-out!

Food is usually always good. The only issue is that I placed an order for delivery and the delivery driver was very angry and rude because I couldn’t meet him outside of my apartment building to grab the food (because my child was sleeping). I gave him the money for the food and he tried to leave without giving me my change. He also yelled and swore at me while he was leaving.

For such a small place, these guys produce some of the freshest, biggest and steaming hot chinese food in lowell. Great to eat in or take out. They even have a tiny lounge where the drinks beat anybody around. The fried rice, the boneless spareribs, and the chicken fingers are the best in the city. Portions are HUGE. Prices are great for the portion sizes.

Good food, horrible service. The delivery driver (Asian, maybe about 40) called angry, screaming because we didn’t answer the phone when he tried to call “you didn’t pick up the phone!” Then when he got here, he beeped the horn (I don’t know why), he came to our door and we gave him the money which was all $1 bills (tips from work). He took the money, looked at me with an attitude as if to say (are you serious?) shook his head angrily and counted the money. He then threw his hands up in the air and said “thank you” with sarcasm. Absolutely horrible. Would give it a zero if I could.

Very good food served here. Great takeout spot. They all the classics. You can buy half orders of items. Kung pow chicken is excellent . Spareribs on the bone and house fried rice are delicious

The dive just told me not to order anymore unprofessional

I’ve ordered from this restaurant several time in the past and the food has always been excellent. Today they charged me $24 for a plate of old recooked rice and beef teriyaki made with rotten meat. I’m pretty sure I won’t be going back anymore.

We have been coming to the Mandarin for years. The general gaus and 8 treasure chicken is AMAZING. When dining in everything comes out super fresh and delicious ! We haven't been able to come down to lowell in a while and it was nice to eat there again before heading up north! Great prices too !!

We placed an order online and paid for it online, went to pick it up and the lady made us pay again to leave with our food even though we showed the charge on our credit card that we already paid online. Also for 75 dollars worth of Chinese food, there needs to be more than one tiny cup of duck sauce, especially since it was specified in the order details.
