Ordered a Chicken bacon ranch gluten free pizza by phone. Person who took order clarified the chicken because on the menu it said fried chicken, I didn't notice that so was happy he clarified it and substituted grilled chicken. One of the best gluten free pizzas around!! The man in the phone was nice and the man who took my money was nice enough.

I ordered a meatball sub that came cold. Cheese wasn't melted. Sadly. They also forgot portions of my other order. The chef or cook or whoever looks like he can't be bothered to talk to anyone, as he said no words to me when prompted.

Ordered a steak tip bowl and got some chunks of rubber and the blandest rice I’ve ever not tasted. No bueno.

Milan Pizza is a fairly small quaint restaurant located on the corner of Douglas and Rogers Street (Rte. 38) Lowell MA. Which has been done over from its original layout, these days here the door is on the right side facing the establishment as opposed to the left from the original design of the restaurant. However aside from that it's not what's really important what is important is their food their food is exceptional they have some of the best tasting Italian food I've ever tried and all this for a small hole in the wall restaurant it's incredible. The other day I had stuffed shells with ricotta cheese mozzarella and sauce. Thier sauce is so good some of the best sauce I've ever had with just the right pinch of sugar to sweeten it out, and no acidity, with chunky tomatoes oh it is so delicious!Their food has made a customer out of me. Another thing in my opinion the atmosphere has significantly improved since changing the entrance from the left to the right side. They have more available seating in my thinking and they added a nice television screen showing pictures from around the world like Italy and Greece with beautiful ocean scenes people enjoying the day diving, boating and sailing, watching this format of the scenes while eating the food made me feel like I was there in those different places around the world. And lastly the service I was 25 minutes away in rush hour traffic I placed my order with Nick over-the-phone and when I walked in the door it was on a tray piping-hot ready to sit down and eat. Best service I ever had. And the price was less than other places for the same amount of food. And unbeknownst to me it was to be served with complimentary garlic bread and side salad with their house dressing right on top. These two added items for free with four stuffed shells all for $11.72 is unheard of in today's inflation. Yeah definitely take away the porcelain plate with real silverware that's never been properly cleaned in most Restaurants with a garnish on the side, I'll take Milan pizzas tin tray with the plastic cover all day long.

Decent, but over priced pizza. The dough was delicious, crispy with that burned on cheese flavor that is so good, the sausage was good.... But the sauce was way too sweet. If you like a sweeter sauce you'll love the pizza at Milan.Kid-friendliness: Saw a bunch of teenagers in the place.
