Highly recommend. Stopped in today with my young children. Hospitality is second to none. I believe the owner came over immediately and offered the kids juices and kid snacks.Food was terrific . They even game extra pork without any spices on it so my kids could eat at no charge. Not many places like this anymore with this hospitality. Mac and cheese was a big hit at our table.Check them out - def worth a visit.

Had a friend visiting from Texas and decided to try this spot out. Two words: Blown away! I’ve never had restaurant BBQ this good in MA.Got drinks at the bar while we waited for our takeout order to be completed. Drinks were on pointBartender was friendly, chatted us up and made great recommendations on food too. 3 meat combo was plenty: ribs, chicken and pulled pork were all perfectly done. House BBQ sauce is the right balance of sweet and tangyMac n cheese, baked beans, cornbread, and potato salad all tasty accompaniments to the proteins. Didn’t get to try the collards, but the owner made up for it.Speaking of—the owner is too cool! After talking w/her, you can tell that Mill City BBQ is a labor of love—and the love comes through in all the flavor! She mentioned that they cater, which is something to definitely keep in mind.I’ll be back for sure!

Me and my husband tried here last night. We were trying to satisfy a craving and trying to find authentic bbq near home, is hard. My husband had just taken a trip further south and it sounded delicious. I have not had an easy time with meat the past few years and been very selective of where I eat meat, handled incorrectly (sloppy) really effects my stomach. It smelled amazing, we were greeted with a smile and the menu had a mock tail section!!!! Which I loved! I do not drink and to have a section that accommodates delicious drinks without it seeming like I am inconveniencing, was so refreshing. We felt welcome. Almost like visiting family. Renae gave us recommendations and suggestions. Asked us what we wanted so she could make the best suggestions as possible. The food was amazing. For how close to home it was and the quality. We were the last customers of the evening and the food was still fresh. She introduced us to her family. Chatted with us as friends. She was kind and her family is beautiful. Thank you mill city bbq for making HOME, that much bigger. Thanks for being a space that treated us as friends and family, despite walking in as strangers!!! We will be back tomorrow for the brisket! We are bringing reinforcements! Ps there isn’t a section for it but that coleslaw is off the chain mama!

Been wanting to try this place because I've been craving some BBQ and was a bit disappointed. I got the pulled pork sandwich and it was dry, crust was burnt and hard, and had no smokey flavor. However, my wife got the smoked chicken and it was the complete opposite. Juicy and had a wonderfully light smokey flavor. Mac and cheese was also great. It did take a while for us to be serviced, even when it was just us, but we weren't too hungry and were enjoying each other's conversation so it wasn't much of a problem. The staff were also pleasant and professional.

Chicken sandwich was horrible. So overcooked and dry. Fries were plain so i asked for salt. Never got it. The meal come with coleslaw but it never came out, had to ask for that. So then i get a packed container of raw slaw mix with the dressing on the side. How am i going to mix this????. 15 minute wait for a beer? Mind you there was pleanty of staff and pleanty of open seats, was not that busy. Horrible experience
