I have eaten here many times over the last 10 years. Food is always good. Service is always fast. Gets super busy at lunch because of how good it is.

I didn't get the Pho but I got Pork with rice and it was delicious. The pork was cooked perfectly and flavor was really good. I will visit again for Pho.

Moving reviews over from Yelp. I haven't been back to the area since this was written in 2016:

My first experience with Pho (no, I can't really explain why it's taken so long) and I really enjoyed it. I went with a group from the class that I was in town attending and we filled their largest table.

A flurry of appetizers whirled by and I can highly recommend the soft shell crab as long as you are alright with spicy food. The crabs they served us were fresh, tender and sweet. Lightly battered and fried crispy on the outside, they were topped with a medley of chopped chilis that heated things up quite nicely. I would recommend steering clear of the shrimp cocktail as it was nothing too special though.

For my entree I went with our waitress' suggestion and had the Pho that came with rare beef - I also took her recommendation and added the fresh vegetables. It arrived in a large steaming bowl that was chock-full of different things. The beef was buried under everything and had apparently cooked itself in the broth while I piddled around with all of the vegetables and noodles layered on top. When I finally found it I discovered that it was absolutely tender and richly flavored from cooking in the beef broth covered with vegetables. I really enjoyed the broth - a realization that caught me by surprise. My thoughts on broth are that it is a flavoring or base and not really suitable for consumption as a soup. That was proven wrong at Pho 88. Their broth seemed to have a silkiness that bordered on creamy but without any dairy in sight. The depth of flavor really caught me by surprise and pulled the dish together for me.

My waitress was very nice.. I loved the soup I ordered it was very spicy. I ordered a drink and they did not have the ingredients needed to make to make it. The waitress was very apologetic and asked me if I wanted something else.

So I was verbally told by the server that they will not serve me anymore because I don’t tip. Last time I checked, tipping is earned and not an entitlement, I come and pay for my meal like any other person that comes into this place like anyone else , if you are doing the bare minimum then don’t expect a tip.

Once again, the server verbally told me that the servers will not serve me cause I do not tip. Not for being rowdy or rude but simply because I do not tip for someone who is literally just doing the bare minimum. I love the food here and been coming here for years now but I am sad to know that I will not be returning anymore. Such a disappointment.

I have just spoken to the manager Lock of the restaurant to ask if it is a standard in their restaurants to deny service to a paying customer service because of they do not tip the server? He did not respond to my questions and dropped the line on me. This is extremely disrespectful!

So long story short, this unacceptable, I am extremely disappointed.

I’ve tried many places for simple Pho soup because it’s my favorite thing to eat on cold New England nights but PHO 88 did it for me I ordered the beef soup and the chicken pho when I arrived home and opened the the top of the container of the broth the smell was so amazing the taste simply divine and irresistible the staff were also very nice, quick and the place looked clean this will be my to go place from now on thank you very much PHO 88 and God bless 🙏

This is our go-to pho restaurant. I grew up on the West Coast, and had a hard time finding pho that felt like home, but were also tree-nut allergy friendly (my husband). This has become the one place we go once the weather gets colder for a comforting bite. The portions are generous, although sometimes the meat servings vary. The hot pot is a fun experience too.

Pho 88 is a total rip-off. Paid **$6 for a Coke** that wasn’t even cold—like they pulled it straight from a shelf in the back. The cup had maybe 3 sad ice cubes rattling around, barely filled. Service was rude, ethics nonexistent, and it’s clear they’re just here to fleece anyone who walks in. Avoid this place.

I go to Pho88 often, the food and service is great. However it is so unbelievably hot in the summer added to the steaming soups. They’ve had “problems” with their AC for years now and still have not fixed it. Genuinely so bad I cannot go on hot days. Such a shame for such a good place.

New ownership? I’ve been going here for years , it’s been while but I was very disappointed with our meals. First of all. The prices are way way too high for that place. 10 bucks for 2 small fresh spring rolls that used tobe 2.95 , and are Mostly filled with lettuce very little meat now. The entree $20 bucks like lemons grass beef was just terrible. Very cheap meat and 75 green peppers as filler. Come on! I loved this place. So Sad to see Keep it real and authentic to what made you great. If you’re going to go up on menu prices that much Make sure the food is on point. It will be tough to go back now. Sorry to say. So sad to see this place ruined.

The food was ok. I ordered the Special soup but it was too spicy for me… I also ordered the chicken fried rice and it was ok.

This place has a lot of potential. It would be top notch if the service didn't take forever. I'm used to pho being in and out and thought I would be in for a quick meal. I miscalculated how long it would take to eat here and so I was late for my next commitment. I initially gave them the benefit of the doubt, seeing as how they were busy, but I sat at an end table where I could see the waitresses and most of them were just talking while many tables needed service. Can't give a good review because of that.
