I am on the quest to find the best Pho in north of Boston beside Pho pasture in downtown Chinatown.I have to say this was a great place. The brat was fantastic. The ingredients very fresh. The only difference is in Chinatown. You get a better selection of seafood inside the brath

We came here on a weekday evening and the atmosphere was nice and calm, which was helpful to decrease stimulation for my 6 year old. The pho and pork chop plate were delicious, nice and tender. The topping on the cake was the amazing service provided by AP. He was kind, fast and genuinely supportive towards helping in making our family feast so amazing! Thank you!

The food here is delightful and there is a large selection. They have authentic vietnemese soups that are huge, and come with a plate full of veggies and sprouts. My favorite is the pad Thai, it is more savory than sweet and comes filled with nuts and sprouts. The service, on the other hand, is inattentive--difficult to get water refills or bills once served. The parking is shared with many other stores and is always challenging to find a spot.I come here regularly, and will continue--great spot.

Best Pho in Lowell! The staff is always friendly, the service is always quick, and the food is always ?. Be careful on the weekends as the parking lot is shared with multiple restaurants so you may have trouble finding parking.

Its crazy how they say their close at 10 pm but stop serving foods and everything at 9 pm that like a 1 hr gap... how can you run a business if everything closed at 9pm.... giving customers false ads that you are saying you closed at 10pm. It dont make any sense.

Got hot pot. They brought the meat out same time as the room temperature broth. So now we’re sitting here waiting for it to warm up with the meat sitting on the table and bugs flying around. This meat and veg plate was $28.95. It’s about 1/10 of a pound of meat. This place is a rip off and smells like FEET

We go here for lunch and/or dinner for quite some time now and yet every time we are there the service is pretty terrible! But this last visit, we waited for a long time for our waitress to come back after dropping off our food. About 30 minutes goes by, we are now done eating and we needed some to-go containers, yet our waitress is nowhere to be found. I had to wave down another waiter, he called another guy to come and see what we needed, the guy that came by our table asked us in such a RUDE attitude and tone, “what do you need?!” My response at the time was calm and polite even though he was not polite to me, yet I am a paying customer. Thinking back, my respond should have been, “what do I need? I need you to treat your returning customers with some kindness and most importantly RESPECT!”Service at this restaurant has always been sooooooo bad, and yet the manager or owner never addresses the issue. Not a good way to run a business at all. VERY DISAPPOINTED AND UPSET!!!

We wanted a break from Viet Thai and went to Pho 88. It was a cold day and I was on my lunch break, so we both got Pho. I got the Dac Biet and it came out so quickly even during lunch rush. The broth was so good and was deep in flavor. Definitely a much needed taste on a cold day.

The hot pot was expensive compared to Spring Shabu in Allston. It cost $5-9 for each broth, $22+ for each set (very small veggie plate), and $22+ for beef plate. The waiters did their best, but the food came out very slow. Next time save your time and go to Spring when they open!

One of my favorite spots passing through. Amazing Pho broth and side dishes. Went there for Shabu Shabu for Valentines Day and it was absolutely delicious. I would recommend this place 100%!

Hands down my favorite spot in Massachusetts. The calamari has set the new standard for what I want when I go out. Thick pieces of calamari light and crispy breading, nice peppery taste with fresh peppers and greens to go with it. Service is amazing. They're so friendly and remember us even if it's been weeks. Drinks are solid and I have to be a little cautious some times. Casual atmosphere is nice and relax 10/10!

On a chilly Thursday night (January 17, 2024), during a business trip from CT to ME, I decided to dine at Pho 88 restaurant due to its convenient location. The frigid weather, with temperatures hovering around 0°F (excluding wind chill), made finding a warm spot crucial. As a solo diner, I was seated at the restaurant's bar. However, I quickly noticed an issue. The bar was right by the entrance, and every time a customer entered, a blast of cold air invaded my space. Since I had removed my coat for dinner, these gusts were quite discomforting. Despite its appearance, this seemed more like a bar in name only. There was no bartender; instead, staff members intermittently moved in and out to serve drinks. The staff frequently came and went, sometimes leaving water in front of me, creating the illusion that it was meant for me.For my meal, I opted for a portion of Mi Vit Tiem (S8). The soup here aligned perfectly with my palate. To my surprise, they included peanuts in the soup, which was an intriguing twist. The addition of peanuts provided a unique and enjoyable flavor. The duck was tender, aromatic, and simply delicious. I wholeheartedly recommend trying this delightful bowl of soup. If I were in the vicinity again, I'd certainly return. Before departing, I visited the restroom, which I found to be quite spacious. In summary, Pho 88 has delicious Mi Vit Tiem (S8) and cheerful service. The only drawback was the seating arrangement, which made me somewhat uncomfortable due to the cold drafts. Therefore, I believe a 4-star rating is reasonable.

Well worth the drive to Lowell from the north for a great bowl of Pho. The both was light and perfectly aromatic.
