Got the call for jury duty and noticed this tiny place when I came out of the Edward J. Early parking garage and made a mental note. When we got an hour-long coffee break at the Juvenile Court I made the 3 minute walk to Rosie's. Ordered a double espresso and the sweet lady gave me a triple; it was rich, smooth and satisfying. I've been going to Rosie's cafe for years. The fresh roasted coffee is awesome, as are her sandwiches and baked goods. Best coffee shop and cafe for many, many miles around.
I've had the good fortune to know Rosie for the past three and a half years. Her café is always clean and warm and the smells of coffee are so comforting. You can get a cup, or you can buy whole or ground beans. The baked goods are delicious, the soups are amazing, and her black bean veggie burger with guacamole is insane! She also takes the time to get to know people and shares a few laughs with each of her customers. She's a true Lowell gem.
