These people overcharge you so bad. Make sure you CALCULATE what you buy. DO NOT BE SCARED TO ASK HOW MUCH EVERYTHING COSTS. They SHOULD have a price on the food you BUY in the RECEIPT. They literally give you the amount without knowing the cost of each food and make you pay with it up front. I’m going back to Redrose. Karma will get to those who overcharge people like crazy. Just cos they seem nice doesn’t mean they aren’t going to rip you off.

You would think people with the same culture would have good understanding but this was not my case. This restaurant and its staffs needs to learn how to effectively serve their customers. They also needs to take ownership of their mishaps when agreeing to serve our event instead of blaming customers and host’s guesses. Host and guesses were not satisfied with the food and waitress attitude.

I was told this establishment would cater to my needs when it comes to serving the event I was hosting but they failed miserably. The servers had bad attitude and cheated us of additional money. My guesses were not happy with them and as a host, this was a great embarrassment. Never again and will not recommend this place.

Food was good, but service was not the best.Got some food on the side for takeout and ended up finding a fly floating in my unopened sauce when I was about to eat it.Used to love coming here in the past, but now I don't think I'll be going back.

There must be new owners or new chefs because it is definitely not what I remember it to be!!! First of all, we went on a hot day and wanted soup bc their kathiew Phnom Penh used to be one the best, so naturally, that's what I ordered. There was no ac. So we were sweating waiting for our soup, while it took 20 mins to get our meal, that's when we realized their ac was not working. The flavor was just wrong. We also got fried wings which was so msg-y. Idk what happened. Only good thing was the iced coffee, maybe bc it was refreshing bc it was so hot in the restaurant. Went with my children and one had to use the restroom. It was disgusting! Luckily I carry Clorox wipes. The door going into the restaurant was filthy. I will not be going back. Absolutely disgusting. Sometimes people are just oblivious. Take a step back and look at how you're presenting your restaurant to the public.

Where do I begin? This is a great unassuming hole in the wall. Don't let the dingy atmosphere and odd decorum fool you. The food is soo good! Ordered six different dishes and everything was amazing. We ordered the lotcha noodles, kring preng, sweet and sour soup, fish, fried soft shell crab and beef stick. Most places aren't able to hit every dish you order so well. But this restaurant does. This place is a hidden gem and the it's great that it is but I feel like the chef needs to be recognized on a netflix show. This place is worth the try.

Felt like home, a very lovely feeling. Delicious food Khmer food (better to share!), relaxing atmosphere and friendly staff. Will definitely return when I have a chance! I recommend Tuk kreung and the fish!

One of my favorite Khmer joints in Lowell. Maybe even second only to my mother-in-law’s kitchen.

Great food here but service was lacking (pretty typical of dive-y Asian places). There is a 10% discount if you pay cash and a 3% surcharge if you use card. I really enjoyed the sour beef soup with rice, and of course the Beef luc lac was great. I was especially impressed with their fried rice - tastes very clean and fragrant! The chicken wings I felt were overrated - it's a pretty standard Asian wing (still good!) but I didn't notice any chili or extra seasoning like previous reviews indicated.

Been here twice. The first time I enjoyed lunch with one of my sons of an extended family. I had the Ox Tail Soup. And on 7-30-22 I was invited to his Wedding Reception to which was a fantastic time. I had never been to a Cambodian Wedding festivities before. They couldn't have been more gracious and welcoming to me and my party of 3Thank you for catering to a great family and their friends. And the food was delicious, well prepared, well served, and well done. Everything was great.

Honestly, I'm hesitating to leave this review. There's nothing more satisfying than bringing people to a bizarrely decorated joint in the middle of a dilapidated strip mall and watch their heads explode when they try the food. It's no fun if everyone knows about it. But people should, they really should. This place is phenomenal. Every dish I've had here is excellent, and generally Cambodian food is such an interesting flavor profile that I'm surprised there's not more of these places around. But the real draw is the coconut soda hot pot. Yes, coconut soda. And why the hell not, right? Coconut is delicious, the soda adds a little sweetness and then there's probably several thousand other spices I don't know, but the end result is something that is so good it's legitimately dangerous. Something about it just shuts down my satiety centers and I just eat until I'm genuinely concerned I might explode. I think it's call Ya-Hon? No idea - but just ask for the coconut hot pot. They'll bring out every kind of vegetable and most kinds of meat. Then you're on your own and you get to watch your friends splatter red-hot broth all over each other. They serve it with little tiny quail eggs that explode into little molten grenades of flavor. Just go here. Don't question it.

It's really hard to find Khmer restaurants in Boston, so I really love eating here when I'm in Lowell. The restaurant itself has a very homey-vibe and I know that other people have said the staff can come off a lil rude-mean I agree, but I haven't had any bad encounters. I usually go when it's not too busy as well it's really empty so the service is super fast. My FAVORITE is the Beef Kaw Koh and then the Chinese donut (Youtiao) to dip it into the broth afterwards. Super flavorful, super filling for a great price. Not picture, but I do love the coconut juice as well. My boyfriend had the lemongrass chicken rice plate and they were generous with the portion size and so flavorful as well.
