I had a great time here the first time, but unfortunately, my experience yesterday was quite different. My food was decent, but my companion, who is sensitive to fish, didn’t like hers. She only took one bite and didn’t realize it contained fish because the labeling was unclear. I asked to substitute her dish, but the staff refused and became a bit rude and unprofessional.
As someone who works in the restaurant industry, I strongly advise treating customers with the utmost respect and finding better solutions when faced with such situations. It’s important to remember that a dissatisfied customer is a lost customer.
In this case, it might be costly to remove the dish from the bill, but at least offer a compromise to ensure a positive experience. You could offer her another meal at a discounted rate or even provide a complimentary secondary option. These gestures would go a long way in making her feel valued and appreciated.
This restaurant has the potential to thrive if its employees were more understanding and professional in handling such situations.
The Short Rib Pho is delicious! The meat and broth are soooo good individually that when you put them together with the other ingredients.... (I got it delivered.) it becomes something phenomenal.

First time at Sizzling Kitchen. The chef/owner took the time to go over the menu with us. Food was fantastic. First rate. By far the best wonton soup I've ever had. We had plenty of leftovers to take home. Great food at a reasonable price. We will absolutely dine there again.
