Tavern in the Square

We had 8 people and everyone found things they really like on the menu. We ordered a lot of appetizers to share as well as entrees. Everyone enjoyed the food.

Our meals were excellent, service was great. Easy to make a reservation , was seated promptly

Our server Abby was perfect! My friend and I had alot of catching up to do over dinner, she gave us our space and was very patient with us... not rushing us in the least!

Not a fan of the half filled martinis if you're going to pay for it then make it a real martini and fill the glass not leave half of it out. Food is not that great nothing worth going back for we had nachos two kinds of wings ( those were good ) but the bowls were bland sorry!!! Had a nice server!

We had a fantastic evening at Tavern in the Square in Lowell! Our group of nine was warmly welcomed, and from start to finish, the service was top-notch. Our server was incredibly friendly, attentive, and somehow managed to keep everything running smoothly—without us ever feeling rushed. She even brought out separate checks without us having to ask (a small miracle for any big group), and went above and beyond to snap a few group photos for us—major MVP energy! 📸 The food was delicious, the vibe was upbeat, and the drinks were flowing—but fair heads up: it does get pretty loud, especially during busy hours. As someone who's hard of hearing, it made it a little tricky to follow conversations across the table. That said, the good vibes and great company more than made up for it. We're already looking forward to our next visit. Tavern in the Square, you've won us over! 🙌🍽️✨

I find this restaurant to be consistently good for the whole experience. The menu has the variety you want for satisfying most people. My one complaint is that they offer no soups which I find odd. Good choice of salads and they are above average. Can not go wrong with their fish taco's that are so well prepared. The bar makes quality cocktails and has creative selections. Prices are reasonable so decent value but this is also not McDonalds. Pleasant modern decor that makes for a respectable ambience.

Brett is the man!!! I request him everytime I come. Food is good service is even better! Brett knows how to put a smile on everyone’s face. I live in concord nh now and still come to Lowell tavern just because of Brett! Give the man a raise he’s worth every penny!

Server Brett was outstanding. Brunch is a fantastic option for the weekends, the whole brunch menu food and drinks, far superior any other option in the area.

this was honestly just perfect. my mom and i just split some appetizers and bella, our server, was fabulous. she was attentive and very friendly. the hostess had a positive attitude and the food was just delicious. i would highly recommend for anyone in the area!

Always easy to walk in and get a seat! Amazing food and cocktails!

We just finished riding the Rail Trail and were very hungry. The food and service were both exceptional!!

Excellent. Server was great and we sat in the covered patio and it was lovely. Good selection and buffalo eggs Benedict and mimosas were great

Our server was very attentive. The hostess was very nice about asking if we could sit in a certain area of the restaurant.

Our server Jackson was great! Food was excellent! Wish a little more could have been done to celebrate my daughter's dance recital other than the food runner congratulating her, but I get it was also a busy day at the restaurant for Father's Day.

Father day we were on a high top right near the door smooched with another table. My order was wrong but food is always good.
