I asked for a monte Cristo sandwich, on the white toast only without the French toast, I saw the server entering the order and saying to the kitchen that monte Cristo was white toast only… after 30 min waiting for it, it came normal made with French toast… I complain to the kitchen and they insisted they didn’t made a mistake… so now white toast comes tasting cinnamon and yellowsh????? This place will close soon if they keep doing mistakes and not fixing it

Food quality has gone down fast and I recently ordered a burger that was overcooked with the thinnest patty I've seen from this place. It has been very disappointing here and I hope they improve.

Food was good waitress could have smiled once or twice. Felt like I was bothering her.

Good food. Good service. The restaurant was pretty clean when compared to other small breakfast dinners in Lowell. Tables and bar space was clean and ready for new customers to sit in. However the location, awkward parking across the street and sketchy people in the area makes it hard to fully enjoy this cafe to its fullest

Apparently under new management. Took 35+ mins to get 3 egg & cheese sandwiches. Then as they're giving us our food, they tell us that they didn't have anymore homefries, so they substituted them w hash browns. Then when we opened our food, they put bacon instead of sausage. Terrible service, subpar food w no flavor/seasoning etc wouldn't recommend

This was my first and last time ever going to this cafe. I was enticed by the lovely reviews left on Google to go enjoy a late breakfast. We sat down and it took 15 minutes for us to be noticed and be given a menu and some waters. After putting in our two very basic orders of a bacon egg and cheese and a chocolate chip waffle, we sat there and waited for 40 minutes. Our waters were finished and none of the waiters noticed to give us a refill. We also weren't checked in on to reassure our order will be coming shortly. Plenty of other people were being seated and getting their orders before us, giving us no hope of our food ever being arrived to us. In the end, we decided to just leave and get breakfast somewhere else as we were both starving. I am sure they did not even notice our absence. I hope other people can have a better experience that we did not. I am sure their food is delicious and I would have loved to try it if I ever got my food. Who knows how long we would have been sitting there? Overall, it is adorable diner. However, I will not be back as other diners have faster service.

Got my country fried steak fix! We slid in not too long before their 2PM closing. What a nice family! Great service and we enjoyed our lunch. So glad we stopped by on our drive back to NY.

Not sure what happened but this kitchen shouldn’t be serving anyone until they can figure out how to operate for more than just a single family breakfast. Food is only as good as the kitchen and servers who bring it to you. Both failed. Multiple tables walked out after waiting over an hour for a sandwich or scrambled eggs. The worst.

If I can give it zero stars I would. Since the place has been bough by another family, it’s been getting worse and worse. Food is always wrong, service is trash and it takes over an hour for the food to arrive even for two people. The place isn’t even busy anymore. Servers don’t show up and when they mess up your food and you tell them you’re missing something they just go and never come back. I tried to give it a chance again and again because I’ve been coming for 8 years but no thanks not anymore and no one should either

Cozy, simple, old-fashioned family style breakfast/lunch cafe/diner. (Not a dining car) Great food at a good value. Owned and operated by a NICE COUPLE! Beats any chain restaurant, hands down!

Parking: Free parking lot right across the street.
