The food itself tastes good but the menu, hours and availability are very limited. Was planning on getting some food since yesterday and they are actually closed. Their hours say it’s open and even called them…Very disappointing and unreliable. They should stay open till later.

Time Out Cafe in Lowell is holding the #1 trophy for Dominican food right now — no debate. The carne was tender, onions hit just right, and the rice was fluffy like a soft pillow from the campo. But that OREO tres leches? That’s not even fair. Sweetest surprise of the day was the owner and her daughter — kind, welcoming, and full of love. This place feels like home and tastes like it’s an abuela’s secret recipe. If you haven’t been… you’re late 😮💨💯

I had one of the best beef burritos of my life from this place today. The lady behind the counter was very nice and the business was clean. I signed in to Google after yers just to leave this review !!!
Great food, friendly service, clean bathrooms. We’ll be back!
AMAZING portions for the price! As of April 2025, $15 will get you a LARGE plate heaped with rice and perfectly cooked meat. Sandwiches are equally worth the price, and their smoothies are fantastic.
Every time my partner and I travel to Lowell, this place is literally on the top of our list. The people are super sweet and patient when it comes to ordering (we also went an hour before close too) and the food... Holy, where do I even start? The mofongo is really yummy and not dry like other places I've been to in Boston. The Yaroa is the only thing my partner gets due to how yummy it is. For a Dominican restaurant, it reminds me of home cooking that my family would make when I was young. Truly an experience in itself. For anyone wanting to try this place out, super do so! Also, if you're a picky sweet tooth lover like myself, the cakes are really yummy. I've had tons of flan and tres leches in the past and honestly, this place does it right. ❤️
Love this place! Food is delicious and affordable, portions are more than generous, and the ladies who work the counter are very friendly! I go here every time I'm in Lowell.
amazing restaurant, been here twice now and it’s been a great experience each time. We’ve tried the ham and cheese pastelito, the chicken and the beef pastelito as well and i’ve gotta say they are the most flavorful and delicious pastelito i’ve ever had. we drove 45 minutes out of our way just to grab them today! we also decided to try the tres leches cake and it was amazing. i never make any reviews online but i had to for this restaurant. The woman who always takes our order is always so welcoming and friendly. for 6 pastelito and two drinks for $16.44 you can’t beat that price at all!

Really sweet and friendly people came after class and let me study for like 2 hours, order lunch, water and coffee.
The food was outstanding!!! Me and my friends had enjoyed it more than anything!! Wasn’t too spicy, wasn’t too strong and I honestly completely adored it!!!!
However they had a mouse running around and I’ll never visit again.

Good food, friendly staff, reasonable pricing. I ordered the steak w onions special which was enough food for 2 people. Tostones were freshly cooked and delicious although I'm more used to plantains a little less ripe. The steak flavor was delicious but a bit dry probably because I arrived shortly before closing.
