Two years ago I switched my allegiance from Haute Coffee in Concord, MA to Nibbana Cafe in Lowell. While the coffee at Haute is indeed very good (Counter Culture beans, not local), I find the staff there a bit impersonal. Seating is also quite limited. Nibbana has equally good coffee (if not better, which is really saying something), provided by Tiny Arms, a local roaster. There is plenty of seating and parking at their location at Western Avenue Studios. The coffee is generally light-to-medium roast and they offer an array of interesting, unusual coffee drinks (I only drink espresso, straight, so I can't comment on those). At the time of this review, they have been cranking out lots of new food items. The staff is extremely friendly, always offering a welcoming smile and an enthusiastic "Enjoy!" when I pick up my order. The owners truly live by what Buddhists call "right living". They are very community-focused, and it shows. If you haven't checked out Nibbana, you're really missing out on a special place.

My only suggestion would be to add more seating for a lounge type area but for this location I can see why it’s mostly grab and go. Thanks for serving me guys! ?

My daughter got a caffeine free blue matcha drink and loves it and my brown sugar latte is incredible. The vibe there is everything with a little table with free books, fresh plants and hand made pottery. Love it, will be returning for sure!

I was really looking forward to trying Vietnamese coffee from a café for the first time and my expectations were met and exceeded! I even got to try a version of cold foam that was completely new to me which added a wonderful sweetness to the strong flavor of the Robusta beans. The staff were friendly, kind, and patient with me as a new customer. I'm sad this location will be closing soon for renovations but look forward to trying their 2nd location a few minutes away in the meantime.
