Its ok, the drinks are not strong at all, and not worth the money, the vibe is cool when bands are playing

Now I don't normally leave reviews but I got takeout tonight I got a meatloaf sandwich that was mush and cold I got maybe 10 French fries also ice cold I also got a flat bread that was burnt I mean burnt my wife got a salad that was so small and 6 dollars for chicken 5 slices a 10th of a breast I was extremely disappointed I called they are gonna refund 30 out of 60 dollars which is an insult. Now I don't mind paying for a good meal which in the past I've had great food from here I hope it was an off night but I deserve a full refund because I wasted my time and gas too drive too lowell. I really hope this is a place of integrity and refunds me because I deserve a refund without question

Really pleasantly surprised from the start. My girlfriend had described it to me as a dive bar with some sort of oldies cover band. My expectations were low.We noticed they had an outdoor space with lots of room, lights and a cover if it rains and you're off the sidewalk. This is not a quiet street but you're in Lowell not Little House on the Prairie. Really nice inside and not jammed in. There was only one table for two when we arrived and it was right by the door in what might become the dance floor and I asked to sit outside and here's where the W & W went above and beyond:Prices are reasonable, we were drinking thus the per person cost.*First off, ask for Chris, he was awesome!*They moved our table outside where there was lots of space.*We were directly outside with an amazing view of the band.*I was not expecting cloth napkins and silverware, 'Dive Bar', right?.*Water came immediately and thank you.*Excellent Manhattans, my girlfriend recommends and this is her drink.*Fantastic Chambord Margaritas, that's my drink. Then it got epic, I ordered 'Popcorn' shrimp and fries.*First off, while the fries are battered, they were crisp and burning hot.*I love crispy hot fries that burn my tongue for the first few.*These were large in house shrimp, not little popcorn shrimp. Lightly breaded and perfectly cooked.*Portions were generous and OMG, ketchup, salt and pepper all in advance. I'm so sick of asking after my food arrives.Through it all Chris checked up on us throughout and noticed where we were as well as what all his tables needed. We never had to ask for more water. Lots of street parking while we were there and lots to watch. Let's just say it was an exciting evening with loud motorcycles and flashing blue lights throughout, we were well entertained.

ended up being outside because the music inside was so loud. Outdoors was interesting too some pretty drunk and smoky people out there. My cocktail was an OK drinkable- nothing memorable though. My salad was good, tasted fresh. the guacamole fries tasted like old frying oil. the service was excellent though.

We visited on 8/3/23 after a concert at the mills. Just wanted a place to have a couple quick beers and we sat in the streetside seats. Chris was very accommodating. We appreciated that. Signs all over the place advertising this is a very socially political bar, if that's not your thing. FYI.Parking: No parking. Use the City lot.

Tonight's experience was totally different from my last one. It was a busy hopping night. Had to wait a bit for a table and had a fairly long wait for our ordered meals to come out of the kitchen. None of this was a huge issue for me. Places do get busy. The server was a little bit absent(let our water run out) but did a reasonable job. The problem I had was the food.I was here a while back and I had an excellent meal here so I know what they used to be capable of.We were a party of 5 people. Of the 3 burgers we ordered, only one of them was cooked close to medium rare as ordered. The other two were well done. Two were cowboy burgers. The bacon was burned. The rolls were burned. I never saw an onion ring in mine. My burger was also quite small and looked like it had a chunk taken out of it. Both Cowboy burgers came with fries however I got very few fries in comparison to my son who ordered the same meal. The 3rd burger was a warp burger. The shape of the burger was crazy. Like someone ripped the burger open as it cooked and twisted it. Sort of a butterfly shape. Again. Looking like a chunk was taken out of it as it was so misshapen. The person who had this burger didn't eat it. She said the texture of the burger was off and it didn't taste good. Two of the people in our party ordered the salmon sandwich. One person said the salmon was not fresh(this was not different from the last visit actually) but worst still, was overcooked and crunchy. The 2nd person who ordered the salmon never touched her meal so we boxed it up. She was feeling ill(not related to the restaurant or the meal).Another problem were the fries. They tasted like fish. No idea why. Probably use the same oil to cook the fish and chips and haven't changed it recently. Just a bad practice regardless.Honestly, had this not been a birthday celebration, food would have been sent back. But no one wanted to make a fuss. It's just a huge disappointment that we had such wonderful food last time we were here. On this visit the food was terrible(most of it preparation errors).I have no doubt we will come back here some day to find out if it was just a bad night but I'm in no hurry. Lowell has no shortage of excellent restaurants.I'm actually sad this place did such a bad job because we loved it so much during our previous visit. I can't get over how badly this place went downhill.I want to recommend this restaurant to people, but i just can't now. There was so much wrong.

We go for live music on Thursday evening in a friendly, funky, artsy, neighborhood bar setting. Always a diverse crowd!
