What do I like about it? I love the pulley ceiling fans, its history as a bar since 1898 and during prohibition and also a fav handout of Jack Karouac. We like to play Keno and have a couple of drinks. Their drinks are very reasonable and their food is outstanding. Their staff is attentive and friendly. They will be featured in the American Best Restaurant...

We were in Boston for a wedding and was doing some sight seeing and this bar popped up on the places to visit. It has the oldest working fan system on a pulley. I believe that this was done by freemason's
