Staff forgot to put in my order,sat there for 45 mins to be told they didn't have pancakes I ordered when I first walked in, could clearly see the guy on the grill pouring pancake mix, not sure what that was about, this was my 3rd and obviously last time

Theirs a young boy that works here with his dad , it's amazing to see a man teaching his son and the son is working the grill . Very good food , good service overall a great experience! Wonderful place to eat , only thing I didn't like was its cash only . Luckily the waitress was very nice and she said I can pay on Venmo , so I downloaded Venmo and paid but besides that it was an amazing experience!! Also good prices

You can't beat this place for home cooking everything from soup the nuts. The people are very, very friendly but pull up sit at the bar. You'll love it. They have outside dining.

Cash only, but no signs were posted. I understand it's an open kitchen, but I hate leaving any restaurant smelling like grease. Not accessible or spacious inside. If I weren't visiting, then I would have preferred cooking at home. Good if you're in need of a fast meal.

Drove from Winthrop because we love a good old school diner. Nothing beats good food - the Capitol Diner had a great breakfast that was exactly what we were looking for. The corned beef hash omelette was delicious and I am still full hours later! Great service in downtown Lynn and street parking available. You can tell this is a place the locals go to and the servers all were really friendly. Bar seating and tables for 2 along the wall.
I stopped in The Capitol Diner one morning for breakfast. I was extremely pleased at the friendliness and prompt service from the staff. The cleanliness and order of this establishment will also contribute to my return. Stuck in a little corner of Lynn, I feel The Capitol Diner probably doesn't receive the raves it deserves!!!

just ordered breakfast half bacon not cooked half homefries burned and i got sausage dont eat sausage then wasnt done if he is cooking alone and taking orders then dont say 10 minutes this unfortunate will be my last breakfast there they need hire help so we dont get half cooked food or burnt very disappointed
