Came here for an early dinner meal with my teenage son. We both are foodies and like trying new places to eat. I first heard about this place from an Instagram influencer, we drove an hour to try it out. The weather was perfect for the drive. We both got sandwiches, I got a Papi Pernil and my son got the JCs Chop cheese (I don’t recall the exact name atm but these are the names I recall when I ordered). I took a bite of the chop cheese and it was very cheesy, the meat was a bit salty for my liking (my taste buds haven’t been the same since covid) but for me a bit salty, a side of fries would definitely tone it down a bit. My pernil sandwich was perfect, packed with meat and plenty of sauce. Before we left the man that took our order offered us a sample of their rice. That was perfect in flavor, not undercooked or overcooked, definitely tastes like home cooked Puerto Rican rice. I do wish the sandwiches would have been a bit longer considering the price. The spot is small inside, not really for eating there but luckily we arrived at a time when it was empty. We were able to sit and have our food there. I parked a couple of businesses away so that we can walk. Conveniently there’s also a dispensary across the street and a small park and a trail you can go for a walk after or go sit and have your food while you watch the scenery. There’s an intersection at the restaurant, you would want to plan ahead for parking if you’re not someone that really knows how to park properly. I parked across from the dispensary and just walked over but there is street parking in front of the restaurant.

This is the best Puerto Rican restaurant in Massachusetts. I have had their chop cheese its my favorite. The Alcapurria they have is delicious. Everyone at least should try their food once in their life lol. And also, Turkish people! I am turkish and I would definitely recommend their food it will make you feel close to home from far away.

Down to earth owner from Brooklyn, NY. I’m from the Bronx and the food is absolutely delicious and accurate to the New York roots. The Puerto Rican food is absolutely delicious and reminds me of home and my family’s culture. The owner is a respectful man and very true to himself and the community. 10/10 would highly recommend to my Hispanic family and community to come here, chat and get some of the wonderful food. I came out here from QUINCY to hang out and get some. That says alot I’m sure.
