The food was fantastic. Service was average. The restaurant was extremely loud making very difficult to carry on a conversation.

This was a 10/10 experience… we treated as family! Last minute did a gender reveal! And most importantly the food was amazing! Get yourselves there!

Our first time! A wonderful experience . We arrived early , seated immediately. Our waitress Allison could not have been more pleasant or helpful . She helped us with our selections . The good was amazing I NEVER finish my plate and this time I did. I had the haddock and couldn’t have been more pleased. My husband had the veal and lived it.the view of the river added to the charm. We’ll be back with our friends.

I made a reservation for 7 PM expecting a smooth evening, but unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. When we arrived, the host said we’d be seated shortly. Moments later, he gave a table to a group that had arrived after us. When I asked about it, he said he felt pressured because they had been yelling at him. That didn’t seem fair to the guests who were patient and respectful.

He then offered to seat us at the bar with a free appetizer and dessert, assuring us that we’d be moved once a table opened up. We agreed, but even when I noticed a table become available, we were never moved. It really felt like we were overlooked for being polite.

The food was decent, but service matters — and this experience was disappointing, especially since we had made a reservation.

We had a 6:30 reservation at Scopa but didn’t get seated until around 7:20 since it was really busy. The manager, Tyler, was super nice—he apologized right away and gave us a free appetizer and dessert. The food was absolutely delicious and worth the wait! Definitely coming back.

We came for the Girl Dinner theme night and absolutely loved it! The pasta and martini deal was such a fun (and delicious) idea. The food was amazing, and the service matched it. Tyler was incredibly kind and thoughtful throughout our visit. We’ll definitely be back!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Scoopa and it exceeded every expectation. From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed like family — the kind of hospitality you just can’t fake.
The food is phenomenal. Every dish tastes like it was crafted with patience, passion, and genuine love for Italian cooking. The pasta is perfectly fresh, the sauces are rich without being heavy, and the flavor combinations feel both authentic and elevated. You can tell they take pride in sourcing quality ingredients and preparing everything thoughtfully. The cozy atmosphere only enhances the experience — warm lighting, great music, and a staff that’s attentive without hovering. It’s the kind of place you go for a nice dinner and end up sitting for hours just enjoying the conversation and ambiance. If you’re looking for real Italian food made with soul, this is the spot. I already can’t wait to go back.

The best experience! My family is off the boat Italian. I have a hard time finding Italian dining good in America, but not anymore. I had the minestrone and meatballs as a test to their ethnicity and my goodness I was blown away. I was with a party of 8 and everyone’s food was delicious! Deloris and Taylor went above and beyond making sure we had the best experience. I’ve never had so much fun at a restaurant, immediately feeling like part of the family. We will definitely be back!! Don’t hesitate to try this place out.

Scopa is hands down one of the best Italian restaurants on the North Shore. The food is outstanding, you can taste the freshness in every bite, especially the homemade pasta and sauces. The atmosphere is warm and modern without feeling pretentious, and the staff are genuinely friendly and attentive.

I went in expecting a good meal and left already planning my next visit. Portion sizes are generous, the cocktails are excellent, and the overall experience feels like something you’d find in Boston’s North End…just without the hassle of parking or crowds. Highly recommend for date nights, family dinners, or anyone who just loves great Italian food done right.

I'm not one to write reviews often, but I HAVE to rave about Scopa! As an Italian cook myself, I rarely dine out for Italian food. But after hearing amazing things about Scopa, we decided to give it a try. And WOW! This hidden gem exceeded all expectations! We were a party of 6 and Every dish was a flavor explosion, portions were generous, and the service was top-notch. Our waitress was fantastic! I'm giving Scopa 10 stars ( if I could )
Don't miss out on this incredible dining experience. Get there ASAP and enjoy!

Scopa, a fabulous restaurant for celebrating a birthday this year. The owner, Tyler is a class act. He greeted us and sat us at a perfect table on the patio to capture a spectacular sunset. We had amazing cocktails and ordered the Rack of Lamb and Chicken Piccata, both cooked to perfection. Great Chef. Our server, Yuritza was a sweetheart! She was patient and accommodating. Tyler went out of his way to bring a delicious birthday dessert with limoncello. Our night was fabulous! Will definitely be back.

Food was very flavorful. Chicken cutlet was crispy and not soggy. The Cacio e Pepe never disappoints. The server made my drink perfectly. Great balance of tasty and strong. The atmosphere is always cozy and relaxing.
