Ribs were fatty and dry. Chicken tasted like it was cooked 3 days ago. And possibly the worst cornbread I've ever had. Won't be back.

I had the pulled pork with slaw, Mac, and cornbread, the wife had brisket with collards, cream corn and cornbread.Overall, very good. Pork was moist, great texture and flavor. We both liked the house BBQ sauce and she liked the Carolina Gold sauce. Brisket was tender, not too lean but, no gristle. Just how it should be served. Both plates were a lot of food. Slaw was sweet and Mac was a bit wet but I enjoyed both enough to finish each. Wife found the corn with a bit too much pepper. She slammed the collards - they were perfect. My only knock is on the cornbread. I love cornbread. This was good dense and the serving size was too small.Decor was cool. Loved the bike wheel light fixtures and pressed tin ceiling. Obviously a neighborhood joint, heard many regulars.COVID protocols were immaculate. Thank you.Server never checked on us though it did get a little busier after we arrived.Others may have rated this a 3-star experience. I’m getting older, there is the COVID. We will tip well and hope for a better experience next time. The food will bring us back.

My wife and I went Saturday night. We sat out in the outdoor seating. Had the Country Fried Ribs and BBQ Egg Rolls for appetizers, both very good! I had the brisket, juicy, excellent flavor, mac and cheese was good too. My wife had the burger and fries, also tasty. We live up the street from this place and it is a good local spot!

We ordered the Thanksgiving dinner for 6-8. Wow was it a lot of food! Everything was delicious and plenty of leftovers for everyone to take. Thank you for such a great meal. I can’t wait to come back and try more of the menu.

We were so pleased with our Thanksgiving dinner. Everything from the smoked Turkey to the sausage stuffing was absolutely delicious. We also were beyond impressed with the exceptional service too. We highly recommend!!!
