Im visiting from out of state, this is not exactly the welcoming vibe you’d expect from a café. I won’t be returning. I’d caution others to think twice before coming here. 0 hospitality from the employees. The staff were shockingly rude and unprofessional. When I politely asked for extra ice, I was told no and when I questioned it they became argumentative instead of helpful.
I was looking forward to getting some food to go till i witnessed an employee was on his phone, then went straight to handling food without washing his hands or wearing gloves. The overall vibe was unwelcoming.

Tobi was amazing and super polite, made ordering simple and easy, the atmosphere and vibes of walnut street cafe are by far the most nostalgic, nowhere else can you sit down enjoy your morning coffee and breakfast while enjoying a cigarette and reading the paper!!! The food and coffee has never changed in quality and freshness! I love it here and always have! Much love ♥️

This is a coffee house and cafe that doesn't have an espresso machine. I got an iced coffee, it was good. Parking is limited. The staff is friendly and welcoming. They have a stage for live performances. It looked like there was a large food menu but I didn't try anything.

One of my worst experiences here i dont know if they are targeting people by the color of the skin but they were very disrespectful and discriminative also you can tell when they dont wanna serve you i feel the racist thing shouldnt be an issue for a place that serve people not a good experience here to be honest not professional at all

This place is America. Jim and Co. are sweet and real and honest and happily at your service. Go for the coffee, stay for the entertainment and a beer. Play keno. Laugh. Dance. Read a book.
In a world of clinical, over-polished bunk the Walnut St. Café is a beacon of hope.

Coffee choices are great!!! but they fill cup to top with ice and won't put less ice if asked. They use a dirty rag to wipe the side of your coffee... and they are not so nice there ? But coffees good... so I still go back when I am in the area....

Where to begin? The minute you walk in you are greeted by the most bubbly, outgoing, friendly, beautiful (inside and out) women around. No need to go through the menu but I will tell you NOBODY has better muffins. My favorite is the cinnamon chip. Trust me visit this “Home away from home” you won’t be disappointed. Tell them Doug sent you. It won’t get you anything but tell them anyhow … L O L
