Listen up... this place makes legit Chinese BBQ roast duck —THE best way to prepare duck, which, by the way, is the tippy top of the poultry totem pole. It is incredibly juicy, tender, and flavorful. It is bliss in the form of food.
For the past two years, I've been getting it for Thanksgiving in place of turkey, which, by the way, is the dirt bottom of the poultry totem pole. Best decision ever. I'm going to be doing this for the rest of my life, and you should too —or just get it anytime because it's iNSaNe.
Also, the staff here is very kind, and they offer a tasty selection of bao and Asian pastries. For real though —get the duck. 1000% a gem.

Fresh and authentic buns. HK style milk tea is not bad at all.

I come here weekly to pick up Daan Tat (egg tart) or their Char Siu (BBQ pork) rice plate and it’s delicious every time! I love this spot, a true Malden staple.
Got a slice of cake and a rice platter with 2 meat (duck and crispy pork) for only $16! It tastes good too ! And the aunties are so nice ! Defn will comeback !

Just ordered a cake for a birthday. It was delicious! Plan to go back and try some of the food items. Few tables and chairs to sit and eat there. More geared to take out.
Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, no steps. On street parking.

By far the best Chinese style mixed fruit cream cake in the area! I have been in search of a bakery for cream cake after my favorite one on Chinatown closed. I have tried looking in Chinatown and west of Boston with no success in duplicating that cake. This place does the job. Chiffon cake is light and moist, fresh whipped cream is lightly sweetened, and there is plenty of ripe strawberries, peaches, and melon. The layers stay together nicely, and no one element us overwhelming. SO GOOD! It took me 35 minutes one way to get to the bakery by cat, but I will happily drive there again when I need another cream cake.
I ordered the cake over the phone, and the process was fast and easy. Pick up was also easy (10am on Saturday). I found a metered parking spot right in front of the bakery! I could never get that in Chinatown.
They also have fresh pastries, roll cakes, and other items, as well as bags of steamed bao in the fridge case. I got custard buns, egg tarts, pineapple buns, sesame balls, and BBQ pork buns. All were delicious, but I was so happy with the sesame balls. The sesame balls were puffy, round balls of goodness. They held their ball shape (no deflating) and were the perfect thickness of dough. So good!

This is a terrible food store, very disgusting, don’t ever come again, this isn’t the only option you have.
I saw they dropped some foods on the floor and put back in the customers’ box without cleaning it or replacing it, so gross…
Strongly suggest not come, at least I won’t ever come again

Zero respect for anyone's time. People cutting in left and right. Management needs to get this under control.

The sweet and savory pastries here are amazing. We were blown away by how delicious they were. We live an hour away and will be coming back again, it is that good.

Bought a whole roast duck and had it cut up. When we got home and opened the tray there were four legs. Then we realized that woman that prepped it gave us two bottom halves of a duck. And my wife got diarhea after eating that lasted couple of days. That other half duck that woman gave us was probably been sitting there all day or contaminated. Be careful of these sneaky people if you go and check your order before leaving. I will never go again. Ironic they open a business to chase customers away. Best advice to you is avoid this place, don't give these dishonest people your money.

The meat floss rolls I bought on Tuesday had a severe musty smell when I ate them the next morning. I was disgusted. How many days did it take for it to become moldy? I have gone here to buy bread seven or eight times, and I am lucky enough to be able to buy fresh bread. Most of them are overnight or even several days old, and the taste changes obviously. It would be nice if Malden had more choices, I'd rather pay the higher price for fresh bread rather than moldy ones. The cashier lady was very smiling, but the bread was really not good.
