I came in today and ordered a beer & buffalo chicken dip. The bartender with the baseball hat took my order and shortly thereafter started conversing with a couple at the end of the bar. Naturally, I got my chicken dip and I was eating and this bartender started talking about himself being a medic in Newport, Rhode Island on wherever and started talking about disgusting things that happened to people that he treated. Everything was going great. The drinks were delicious, the place was nice—everything was set up for a great night until I asked for the bill and paid.
When I handed over my card to pay, the bartender came back and said it had been declined. However, I obviously wasn't going anywhere without money in my account.
