P & C Market & Caribbean Cuisine

This was one of the worst food experiences I’ve ever had. The food was clearly not fresh. The beans smelled absolutely awful and had bubbles, which is a huge red flag. The meat smelled rotten, not just off, but genuinely spoiled.

I called the next day to give feedback, and instead of listening or apologizing, the woman I spoke with was extremely defensive and tried to blame me. She said the food went bad because I “took too long to pick it up.” That explanation makes absolutely no sense. I was born in Haiti, I grew up around freshly cooked Caribbean food, and I have never seen properly made food spoil in an hour and a half just from sitting.

To make matters worse, I ordered a pate, and the gentleman literally microwaved it and handed it back to me. It was not fresh at all.

What’s really disappointing is that I used to order from here and had better experiences in the past, but clearly the quality has gone downhill. Between spoiled food, reheated items, and defensive customer service, I would not recommend this place to anyone. Food safety should never be this questionable.

Came here for the oxtail, was not disappointed! I do wish it had more meat on it but it was so flavorful and well seasoned. Perfectly paired with rice and beans &pikliz & plantains. The food was so fresh and smelled delicious. The place was a little hard to find but just look at the numbers on the door. Parking wasn’t bad.

I got a ragout with white rice and black beans soup. It was horrible, I have never seen anything like it. The meat was soggy, and the smell of that ragout was horrible. So much so I didn't even try to eat it. The rice was uncooked. The only thing that was ok was the bean soup. I won't be going to that place again. I basically threw my money in the trash.

Authentic Haitian food. Absolutely delicious. Fried goat, oxtail stew, with djon djon rice. I've not had anything like this. P&C Market & Caribbean Cuisine over at Malden, MA.

I was on a side quest to source dried Haitian mushrooms for my good friend. I wasn't expecting hot prepared foods there but it was lunch time. After that I was ready for a nap.

a lot of rice and small portion of meat. Felt a little sick after eating and sick the next day. the legume was not legume at all. Spent over $100 but had to throw the whole thing away. Back to highland cuisine for me. At least I tired a new place to see if they were any good. it does suck throwing away haitian food tho, but they definitely need to get some lessons from some other places.

Keep driving. The food is usually sitting out for a long time,sour and taste mediocre. It is not worth the calories. I rather go to another place in Malden.

Just keep driving I ordered ox tail. It was horrible. I ordered a chicken wasn’t good. Not happy with the prices. Keep driving.

I order a Pintade and rice & beans. Food was horrible...the Pintade sauce so sour like I was only drinking pure vinegar. It's a shame for our Haitian cuisine. This is my second time ordering from your restaurant first time I had a legume I wanted to give a second chance and still disappointed....
