My two favorite foods sound boring to some, but I can't help it -- I'm a savory food kind of person. I love nachos and I love BLTs, and it's amazing how many places have managed to not do these two things well. Marblehead is full of the most wonderful diners and coffee shops! The Blue Canoe Cafe is a must, however. The decor is fitting for a coastal town that is very proud of their maritime history. The staff are very pleasant and polite. The food and coffee were wonderful- particularly their yogurt bowls, absolutely to die for!

I'm ashamed that I've lived in marblehead a few years now and never tried this place. I highly recommend a simple coffee or latte so you can taste how simply delicious it is. It's also kid friendly (etch-a-sketches a great way to keep them sitting) and my son found a favorite gluten free option in the breakfast sandwich wrap.
