Excellent sandwiches! But you never know if Manhattan Sandwich will actually answer their phone or when they'll be open. The phone works perfectly (I've called them while standing right next to it), but certain employees won't answer it up to an hour before closing. This is doubly problematic because the deli doesn't maintain accurate hours of business online. (I updated them myself, to reflect that they essentially don't do dinner on weekends.)
So... Weekdays and walk in? Great. Weekends and take out? Avoid.

Manhattan Sandwich Company is the best for any sandwich or lunch. All the ingredients are very fresh and of the highest quality. I highly recommend trying all the specialty sandwiches and they have the best lobster roll in town. Can't recommend their sandwiches enough and their staff is always so friendly and attentive!

My MIL and I are visiting Marblehead and ordered sandwiches/wraps here for dinner 2 nights in a row. We were not disappointed at all! I'm guessing it is family owned because there were two teen boys working on Sunday(8/4), they were polite and took care of our order promptly. It's been way too hot to cook or eat a hot meal the last few days so sandwiches were a good choice. The coleslaw was amazing and the sandwiches are loaded with meat. Well worth the money. I would order here all the time if I lived locally.

Cold cuts were not fresh or of any quality. Cole slaw was brown, again not fresh. Mac salad was mostly mayonnaise. Expected more for $22.00. Been going here for sometime and it’s gone downhill. Too bad because they used to make a great sandwich. ? Wouldn’t recommend!

I have been going here for years! This is my sons favorite place to go to when he's in town! I highly recommend if you want a great sandwich can't go wrong with the Lobster Roll or the Empire! Ask for the Pickles too!

Great spot, great service, great food.
Great straight up deli. Every sandwich I've had here is amazing, especially the American Hero (pictured). Lots of great options. The owner/staff are always kind and helpful. Can't recommend enough ??
Parking: Situated in a large plaza with plenty of free parking.

The tortilla for my wrap tasted awful, I can't even explain it. Almost like stale bread and plastic. The wrap itself would not stay closed because there was so much lettuce, but there was barely any chicken in it?Worst of all, the lettuce they stuffed it with was rotten.Never trying here again.

Guy behind the counter was wicked fast. Best Reuben I've ever had. And I've eaten Rubens all across America. Thanks Manhattan sandwich company. Wish I lived closer.

I am a tough sell for a sandwich, because I’m vegetarian but don’t like a lot of raw veggies(I’m a little picky) I got the Central Park veggie melt and was in love, perfect level of crunch, spice, and cheesiness. I know I will come here a lot now that I’ve discovered their menu!
