Chowder was awesome!! Had had the Haddock fish sandwich which was incredible. Highly rated this place. The service has a 4 star because (1) We had to hunt someone down in order to be seated and (2) when she sat us, it was more a "your waitress will be so and so. Here's your menu." And then scuddled off like she was bothered we came in the first place... Will I go back though? Hell yes! The food was really good!
Food was decent, good but nothing special. Service was a little slow but not horrible. We were only there for an hour from the time we sat down until the time we left but another staff member (hostess? Manager?) kept coming over and clearing things off the table and starting at us. Having worked in the industry in the past I could tell she wanted us to leave to give the table to someone else but we were trying to finish our drinks. We had a wonderful experience dining at the Three Cod Tavern, our waitress Sandy was lovely and the food was delicious. And I cannot stress this enough, try the lobster mac and cheese!
