BEWARE if you have any dietary restrictions - they are NOT mindful of them and will send you the wrong food. They were instructed I am gluten free yet kept sending wheat pasta as replacements, and without any warning. I had to keep calling, they said they'd fix it, then next week it'd come again. The next week they only sent 4 meals - and they weren't even what I ordered! Finally I wrote a letter and the president called me. On top of claiming to fix the issue, the president told me they had also been stiffing me on fruit & milk (only sending 1 a week instead of 7), but do you think he bothered to throw in any extras of anything in the next order? Nope. No compensation whatsoever - but I am sure they billed the insurance for ripping me off anyway. After speaking to him, the next week I received a normal order, but then the week after that it went back to wheat again. It became clear that even the owner doesn't even know what's happening inside their own business so I cancelled my service. You had way more tries to get it correct than you deserved and you stil couldn't do it. Beware.
I recently switched to Heart to Home Meals from Mom's Meals and I'm switching back because these meals are horrible they are watery, gross and I found hair in one they don't have what's on their menu half the time, my last order they sent me five of the same items, I have had delivery problems since day one, I'm going back to Mom's Meals because I don't like hair in my food, watery meals or a fake menu that doesn't have half of what it advertises, as well as tiny liquid servings you need a spoon to eat, the owner of this place is clearly in it for the money and it shows from the quality of the product every corner that can be cut has been cut to maximize profits to even shipping boxes I'm giving this business one star because I can't give them any less
I failed the Meals on Wheels test because i couldn’t eat them. I tried giving them away - no takers. I just started on this, after dropping so much weight that it’s a serious health issue to my PCP. My first meal with Heart to Home (H2H) was a 4/5. Good, just not my thing. Last night, i tried the beef stew: that is a 5/5. Restaurant quality. These next several weeks will be trial & error to figure out which meals I enjoy and which aren’t for me. The following things are deal breakers: Canned veggies (like peas or green beans). H2H veggies are NOT canned. Next: Fake mashed potatoes. (Fake mashed potatoes seasoned with artificial butter is more disgusting.) H2H are REAL mashed, cooked just right. I season them according to MY preference. The rice is cooked just right, too. Veggies are al dente. (Maybe, at some point down the road, they will have brown rice, too?) H2H doesn’t use extraneous packaging to trick you into thinking you get more than you actually do. I have a tiny freezer, but sufficient to accommodate these meals plus the doggie ice cream mandated by my Overlords. H2H aren’t the bland, unseasoned dishes served in hospitals or in nursing homes. These meals would be quite suitable to a younger crowd, too. There are over 70 meals to choose from, making boredom unlikely. Some of my favorite meals are available, meals that i haven’t eaten in decades. Who cooks a great spread for just one person? These factors put H2H in the win column: variety and choice. Eliminating the foods I don’t care for still leaves me with MANY options. CHOICE is a big for me. H2H is like being able to go out to eat without having to get dressed up & waiting for a table.
I work there
Went are you coming at my house tomorrow
Sorry I think that the meals are costly and they don't fit into my eating disorder ?
Glad they gave us a week at a lower price to try it out but sadly it wasn't great.
These guys are meticulous about their billing and their deliveries. Plus their food is beyond delicious. A terrific value for your money.
Bought some meals from here. Nice little individual portions, appropriately sized for adults. The haddock portion was about 4-5 oz in size. All the meals come in individual containers that contain side dishes. If you need easy to heat up meals, especially for anyone who can't cook or has trouble cooking or shopping for themselves, I recommend heart to home meals.
We just tried a week of Heart to Home meals and they were delicious. The catalog they provide has so many choices of beef, chicken, turkey, pork, fish and vegetarian. The meals come in 3 different sizes. You can also customize your meals if you want low sodium, low calorie, high fiber, and low saturated fat. There is no contract, just order. We are using the service during my recovery from surgery and it has helped immensely. We will most likely continue to order after my recuperation as a backup to what I cook.

Wonderful service! Seniors with salt and sugar restrictions now have a food service that they too can order from. You can always add salt and seasonings to these delicious meals if you so choose. to me the meals are delicious as is.
BUYERS BEWARE! Heart to Home sent us EXPIRED meals! Also, no crackers given with soup purchases and vegetable soup was TASTELESS. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS SERVICE FOR MEALS! Earned one stat bc couldn't leave zero~
My father loves the food and the drivers are so friendly and helpful! Thank you for being so fantastic.
I only viewed the website, but everything seems well made and fairly priced.
