We ate at the Fairview last night. It was great. My husband had scallops and I had the short ribs. Food was delicious, price was so reasonable and waitress and service was great. We are coming back soon.

We came to the Fairview for dinner. We are here on vacation and we have never had bad service at the Fairview. We made a reservation for 6:30, they seated us in the bar area in front of the fireplace. The table wasn't even set It had no water glasses on the table no eating utensils or place settings. We did not get service for at least 15 minutes and I felt so bad for the waiter, he seemed very agitated and anxious. He was waiting on at least four tables in the bar area. He finally came to us and we put our drink orders in and our apps. We received our app order before our cocktails. Needless to say, we left because our drink order never came. The manager apologized several times. The parking situation is also atrocious. We had to park a quarter of the mile down the street. I do not complain very much but this was a really bad experience for us and I just hope that the management there adjust accordingly to their patrons.

This review is for the Inn. Filthy, hot, unbearable. The view is nice, but everything else is horrible. They have not updated the carpets, furnishing, linens etc in many decades. We left early.

My wife surprised me with an impromptu getaway. The Fairview Inn was amazing for a night of solitude and a recharge. The dinner was great, oysters fresh, the room was incredible and we couldn’t beat the views. It was just what we needed to break away from life’s chaos. We’ll definitely return when we need another break!
Had dinner here after my daughters confirmation. Party of 11, and everyone was happy. The chicken parm was huge and looked delicious. I had the filet, which was incredible. The goat cheese on top was the perfect touch.

Great meal at the grill. Seated in front of the fireplace with a view of the ocean. In spring, the seals will return with their babies.

I went to the Fairview Inn for my birthday. Had the best dinner. service was exceptional. My daughter brought in my birthday cake and the server was happy to bring it over and sing happy birthday. I spent the night and had the best sleep ever. I’m planning to do this every year from my birthday.
