Amazing experience for anyone who loves science and oysters (or at least one of the two). We signed up for their tour, we went a couple weeks ago now, our tour was a reschedule due to weather and wow did we look out with the weather that day! The first half is a tour through the oyster nursery showing the process of spawning little baby oysters before they can be brought outside and then eventually out into the ocean to grow on the oyster farm. Swung by here for lunch on my back to Boston from Cape Cod after a brief visit at Plymouth and was not disappointed. It was virtually empty as they had just opened, and had plenty of indoor and outdoor seating available - we sat outside near the water as the weather was perfect. We ordered a bunch of oysters which were fresh and amazing. We also had the pretzel, capris salad, and several beers (they had a great variety on draft) which were good. Our server was very nice, but they don’t tell you there’s a 10% “admin fee” for the kitchen workers share of tip? not sure why you don’t just pay your workers more, but that’s besides the point. The view is fantastic, but the pricing for the quality of the food here is interesting... Roughly $60 for what is essentially just a subpar Alaskan Roll and 8 (sandy) oysters. Expected better from the high ratings, but it might be outdated. Probably won’t be coming back.
