“Our server was very nice, but they don’t tell you there’s a 10% “admin fee” for the kitchen workers share of tip? not sure why you don’t just pay your workers more, but that’s besides the point. The view is fantastic, but the pricing for the quality of the food here is interesting... Roughly $60 for what is essentially just a subpar Alaskan Roll and 8 (sandy) oysters. Expected better from the high ratings, but it might be outdated. Probably won’t be coming back.“

“Excellent spot in the summer time for some beers and oysters. We went memorial day weekend and it was packed. Island Creek oysters are always my favorite when we get a variety. Oysters came out fairly quick. The sushi roll took a lot longer to prepare. My only complaint would be that they could use more shade in the form of umbrellas at the picnic tables.“

“Hello, I'm from São Paulo, Brazil. I've been looking for a pizza that reminds me of my hometown for many years! Fire & Stone introduced me to a thin, crispy crust, a generous edge and very good products! Congratulations on the quality of the products and the wonderful pizza that reminds us of our land! Just so you know, there was no pizza left for breakfast! Continue on this path, success is certain! God bless you!“

“Thank you for your kindness offering to help with a same day luncheon for my family who is losing their loved one. I was told it was exactly what they needed and lifted their spirits. Thank you for your generosity agreeing to deliver to them (I was many miles away) to the nursing facility so they could focus their efforts supporting their loved one. The food I was told was spectacular! Pleasing to the eye AND absolutely delicious. Carefully crafted sandwiches full of flavor, chips, and a beautiful salad. "Perfect 10" were the shortbread bars with chocolate glaze! Chips and cupcakes! Needless to say, there were leftovers which makes for a quick bite to eat later on. Local Gem! #grateful! 1/25/24“

“We’ve been visiting Duxbury Beach State Park for a few years and finally decided to grab some food from Blakeman’s. Not sure what took us so long but it was worth the wait. I thoroughly enjoyed my fish sandwich. Not too heavily breaded and the fish was very fresh. The accompanying fries were excellent. My wife was impressed by the taste and size of the lobster roll. Our son enjoyed his chicken fingers and fries and he’s a very picky eater. If you’re just eating at Blakeman’s then the parking is free. Just tell the attendant when you enter the public parking lot next door. Otherwise, if you’re planning to spend some time on the beach and then visit Blakeman’s or vice-versa then the parking is $25 for the 2023 season. The beach and the restaurant are well worth the price of parking.Kid-friendliness: They offer a solid kids menu. “I stopped in The Anchor last night for the Buffalo Shrimp, and it's one of the best fried shrimp I've had! I couldn't decide between the chicken gumbo or their frickles, Samantha was definitely a huge help with this, I ended up getting the Frickles and they didn't disappoint.“

Chicken & Pesto Pizza

“When I entered Duxbury Pizza, I was smacked in the face with warmth and hospitality. I proceeded to order a chicken Caesar wrap and it was the best I’ve ever had. The freshness of romaine, consistency of Caesar dressing and crunchiness of croutons, nothing was a disappointment. I am so grateful to have stumbled upon Duxbury Pizza and will definitely be back.“
