“Take and bake kind of food shop. Always delicious food with clear instructions on how to cook the meal perfectly. My favorite is the pesto parmesan chicken - so creamy, crunchy, and full of flavor. The pearl cous cous is a great accompaniment to the chicken. The staff are nice and will answer any questions you have.“
“We went to Sun Tavern, three weeks before Christmas with a bunch of old friends , hoping for some Christmas ambience and a great dinner with drinks in this old world historic Tavern. Unfortunately, our hopes were dashed as the Christmas decor and ambience was scant to non-existent, at best. Was the food good? Yes . Were the drinks. nice? Yes. Was the waitress, fun and attentive? Yes. Will we go back there next year for our annual Christmas cheer get-together to celebrate the beginning of the holidays in a fun & festive atmosphere? Probably not.“
“Bongis is the Best!!! Not only is the food great but the people who work there are amazing.I went in yesterday with the plan to get the standard turkey sandwich and some potatoe wedges.. but the women who help me was so excited she suggested I try the new Turkey Meatball sub.. she promised I would love it.She was right, it was soooo good, i highly recommend it.“
“Was in the area and stopped here for dinner! Place was packed as it was the day before St.Patrick’s Day! We were sat pretty quickly and our server was amazing! My son talked her ear off about Star Wars and legos and although she was really busy she never rushed him. ? the fries and steak tips were incredible! Highly recommend!Kid-friendliness: They had coloring books and cups with lids!“
“I stopped in The Anchor last night for the Buffalo Shrimp, and it's one of the best fried shrimp I've had! I couldn't decide between the chicken gumbo or their frickles, Samantha was definitely a huge help with this, I ended up getting the Frickles and they didn't disappoint.“
“July 2023: the chowder was good, the crab cake had a bad flavor even though it had a lot of meat, calamari was okay. For some reason the oysters were not as good or as plump as before. We got oysters here many times before although it was the first time we stopped by for lunch attracted by the outdoor space with umbrellas and a cool ocean breeze.“
“Had an outstanding meal here back in November - our family live locally and insisted we visit, and I’m so glad they did! Everything from the oyster menu was super fresh and a great way to appreciate the variations between different varieties. Service was friendly, cocktails were delicious, and the Windsor Fries (cooked in tallow and served with a delicious garlic mayo) are genuinely the best fries I have ever eaten. Can’t wait to go back!“
“I popped in last Saturday and instantly fell in love with everything (white noise cocktal=HELL YES) to the totally lovely staff that took care of us during a hasty retreat out (boooooo!). NeverMIND how dope the food was. My reason to come down to Plymouth went up in smoke, but I WILL BE BACK ❤️“
“September 2023-Don't miss this small local place for great food. There is limited parking but within walking distance of street parking. They have a large bar and booth seating. We didn't have to wait long since it was off season. We both began with the clam chowder. The clams were shredded which we had never had and it made the chowder lovely. Best we had on our vacation. I got the a cod fish Reuben on grilled marble rye bread. It had thousand island dressing and was served with coleslaw and skin on fries. Their dill pickles were homemade. My husband got the brisket grilled cheese with tater tots. It's served with brown gravy to dip the sandwich in. The sandwich was overloaded with brisket, so very filling. Service was great.“
“Excellent food and drinks!! The atmosphere was comfortable and cozy. The Lumber Jack cocktail was so good and also ordered the Beef Bourguignon which was delicious. The only con I would say is the service could be a bit more welcoming. Other than that I really enjoyed their cocktails and the food felt of high quality. Will be back :-)“
“Get the stuffed lobstahh… need I say more?!? This dish was absolutely amazing! The clam chowder made for a delicious appetizer!I went for a late lunch with some girlfriends, and the restaurant was busy inside, so we opted to sit outside. The server was super nice and friendly, but did not check on us as frequently as we would have liked. The food was absolutely fantastic!Wheelchair accessibility: Restaurant does have a lower level, but it was not open during our visit… they did however allow us to use the restroom on the first floor.“
“Best Mexican food! Fresh, from-scratch ingredients, hands-on owner (Mike) + knowledgeable staff. From the incredible guac + pico to the authentic house-made corn tortillas, this place is 5 star!! Highly recommend the bbq brisket and the shrimp tacos but seriously, everything is a great choice. Tons of gluten free options and I totally appreciate the fresh lime instead of sour mix in their margs. Jefes came recommended by several word of mouth reviews from colleagues and friends and we will continue the chain to spread the word!!“
“Food was yummy & fast. Little on the expensive side, if your planning on drinking (per usual). For just 3 sandwiches it was $18, the 3 alcoholic drinks totaled $60. I will say the two bloody Mary's came with shrimp, olives, bacon & celery. Would definitely visit again?“
“What a great place. I'm the only vegan in our group, and I still had no trouble finding options on the menu. Very good food, excellent service, great atmosphere, generous cocktails.I really enjoyed the Mapo Tofu on noodles, super delicious. My only gripe is there were no vegan desert options, but 2 cocktails and and a double espresso more than made up for it.Vegetarian options: A few vegan options on the menu, more if you're ovo-lacto. Not clearly / explicitly labeled, though.“
“We live up the street from Liv and are so grateful they offer delicious fresh vegetarian and vegan options! The staff is always super friendly. We love bringing our baby in. We all love the vibes. Great music, great food, great drinks, great atmosphere!Dietary restrictions: Vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options!Parking: Easy parkingKid-friendliness: We bring our baby in and he loves it! His first time in he was 6 months. They have a little booster type of seat with a seat belt.“
“The seafood platter for two was awesome had that yesterday. Today had the whole belly clam roll and the hot buttered lobster roll. Both were great but I think the cold mayo lobster roll is better. Now back to Ky and no seafood but I will return next year snd dine here again.“
“I have been meaning to check out this local restaurant and visited during a fundraiser they graciously held for my children’s school. It is run by a great family, has a fun, family friendly atmosphere, the food was amazing and the staff was incredibly fun and kind. You will not be disappointed!“
“So, I discovered that I am not as in love with a traditional boiled dinner as I used to be. It was mostly flavorless until I added vinegar. I still rated them highly as I think it is my tastes that have changed. Still, $27 was a lot to pay for what I got. We will certainly still go back.“
“I wasn’t expecting the food to be this good. We had the fish and chips and the burger. Tip: Change the regular fries for truffle fries.Shout out to Caeleigh G for doing a great job taking care of us.Request to the restaurant: Give us more than two pieces of bread for two people. The bread is delicious!Parking: We got there at 5:30 PM on a Saturday. We didn’t have issues finding parking.“
“Stopped in for the first time around 9:30 a.m. and ordered breakfast; eggs Florentine (shown). The portions were huge; the service was friendly and the atmosphere was cozy. It was surprisingly busy. Although prices seem to be high at first, they are comparable to other breakfast places. I enjoyed my breakfast there and will likely go back. Next time I will order a healthier option like multigrain pancakes with banana.“
“For local ambiance and well-prepared seafood, head to 42° North. Great dishes (and you need a good appetite as the portions are quite generous) are the Atlantic Cioppino, with a really well made tomato broth and variety of shellfish and fish, and the Barcelonan Seafood Paella, also with a rich tomato sauce. They could have better wines and also they lack draft beers and ales, which is the reason I only give them a "4" rating. Go for the food, not the dinner beverages! And, oh, the melted chocolate cake dessert we shared amongst 4 of us - it's also plenty big.“
“Great local restaurant and great deal. WALK TO THE EAST END OF THE RESTAURANT. During a weekday, the other doors were locked. We lucked out and came on 50 cent wing day. Shanty rub is the best choice for wings. They get the skin on the wings perfectly crispy. Awesome place to come from a boat, as you can see the docks. Staff was wonderful.“
“I have heard people at my workplace talk about how this place is political and they don't feel welcome with the Blue Lives Matter flag, but I have never seen any of the staff be nasty here and for me I don't judge by what others say I judge it by my own experience with the food, service, and the atmosphere. And I would say I have never had a bad experience here. There was one time some guy let his kids take our scratch tickets but it didn't have to do with the restaurant just a couple bad apples in town. They'll get their karma The food here is consistently great, and the pizza is the best in town. The bartenders and waitresses here are also great and make us feel welcome. A great restaurant overall!“
“High energy provided by the St Pats 5k runners, and a fabulous D.J. playing base-thumping music while we "chair-danced" and enjoyed an exceptionally tasty supper brought to us by the most pleasant waitress we've had in a long time!!! What a great way for us two "oldies" to feel alive again (and have a delicious meal.) Great job Venus II.“
“A neat little place. The chicken parm was overcooked, but it was mostly good otherwise and the dessert certainly made up for that. The dining room was nicely decorated, but noisy despite the average sized crowd. Something unique about this place is the open kitchen window where you can see your food prepared. I am sure I will be back, but I think I will try another entrée.Parking: The restaurant is free standing next to a shopping plaza, so there is plenty of parking to be found.Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs, and most of the tables had chairs that could be easily moved to accomodate a wheelchair.“
“We've been getting takeout/delivery from Manny's American Pie and it's become our go to on nights we don't feel like cooking. Large menu and tasty food. I've had pizza, grilled chicken sandwich, burgers, and fries from here and all have been great. Just a nice local sub/pizza place. They're on GrubHub for delivery too.“
“Pretty quiet but service is super quick and fix any sort of problems with food/drinksStaff is some of the nicest, even in the later hours. Food is some of the best for low budget family restaurant, I recommend the bread bites and campfire sauce!!French fry seasoning is so good I want to buy some for myself at home.Kid-friendliness: Has kids menu and drawing mats and crayons to keep kids distracted, also balloons!“
“I was excited to see they've changed their menu as I was tired of the same old offerings year after year. The two salads we ordered were fresh and delicious. The Caesar was huge, chopped and very garlicky and came with a Parmesan crisp. The second salad was endive, blue cheese, candied walnuts and was large. Dressing on this salad was just ok but salad was nice and fresh. The salmon entree was perfectly cooked and had delicious green beans and sticky rice as sides. The pesto and ricotta baked pasta was absolutely terrible. The pesto wasn't basil pesto but I think was tasteless spinach pesto (I asked the waiter and he had no idea what type of pesto it was). There was barely any ricotta in it and it was dry as a bone. The meatballs that came on the side were good but an odd choice as an accompaniment to the baked pasta (they were in red sauce and pasta was green). They need to get this pasta dish swapped out with another type of pasta entree that isn't over cooked and dry and flavorless. Cocktails are interesting and unusual. Ambiance and service both top notch. We'll be back, I just will order better next time and skip the pasta.“
“Went for the 1st. Time to royal pizza today my daughter and I both got a chicken cutlet and chicken Parm. Ooo and there backlava I have to say it was the best food I've ever had everything was fresh and real chicken not frozen. I will definitely take the 48 minute ride back there again that's how great the food was. Thank “
“My husband and I love this place. It’s been hard to find good food around here so we look forward to our dinners here! We would be fools if we didn’t order the buffalo chicken tenders so we don’t leave without ordering those. I have been ordering the same meal for a while and it’s delicious every single time. I order the buffalo chicken tenders, mashed potatoes and a salad. It’s the perfect combination and is so satisfying! I’m hoping it will become a menu item soon so I can just ask for “The Jessie” ??. Service is always excellent and the drinks are on point, not too strong or not strong enough, just perfect. Staff is very friendly and we appreciate the positive attitude that comes from everyone who works there. It starts with the staff, then the food - so the smiles go a long way! ❤️“
“Every time I go I get wonderful service. The selection of teas ice or cold are always great. The food has been fresh . It's a nice bright place with a counter that faces outside,a few tables that seats four and a couch area. I have had no trouble with WI-FI .“
“We had the Pasta Fagoli. It was the best we have ever had. We've had Ninos & Olive Garden. And yours if by far the best. I hope you have it at least once a week cuz we will be there. It deserves more than 5 Stars. We loved it. ♥️♥️♥️Wheelchair accessibility: Can't wait till warmer weather. I love the fact that you are wheelchair accessible cuz I am in a wheelchair. I will look forward to dinning in your restaurant soon.?“
“I went there with my friends Saturday afternoon. When I realized it was Irish food I got nervouse. But I got the chicken Dianne and it was the best I ever had. Nevermind the fact the staff was amazing. My waitress was absolutely stunning and so polite. I'll definitely be going back many times a month.hopefully get the same staff. I left a large tip. You have to go.trust me.“
“Breakfast here is phenomenal. Chef Coe delivers all the classics in addition to his elevated breakfast creations that are fresh, unique and most importantly delicious. What I liked best is nothing tastes heavy or greasy. Cute country breakfast vibe inside with a low counter breakfast bar and a couple of booths and maybe 8 tables. Service was prompt and friendly; not pushy or rude like a lot of breakfast joints around here can be. 10/10“
“Everything about this place is good: food, service, cocktails, prices, atmosphere. They basically hit on all cylinders just about every time. Everything the chef touches (possibly even looks at) is amazing. I’ve never had anything there that I didn’t like, and that includes things that I don’t like (not a fish fan, but he found a way to make me appreciate it). There are only so many compliments I can give before a review becomes unabashed, gushing adoration, so I will simply say: Try it.“
“My family enjoyed having lunch at East Bay Grille. Most of the food was great (with a few exceptions). The servers were pleasant even though it was very busy that day.Dietary restrictions: The menu is labeled for gluten free options, which there are several of.“
“Excellent EVERYTHING! Fortunately, no affiliation with Gerards in Plymouth, Manomet. Really nice selection of food here. A+++. Definitely coming back. I would have been here sooner had I known they were not affiliated with the Gerards in Plymouth.“
“My husband and I go here a lot for breakfast. Portions are generous. We usually dont finish our omelets, so we take the rest home with us. They serve eggs cooked to order, omelets, waffles, french toast, pancakes. For lunch: soup, salad, sandwiches, burgers as well as offering homestyle-type entrees for lunch/early dinner. I believe they close around 3-ish, but you'll have to check their website. The dining area is clean and bright. Very, very friendly waitstaff.“
“Loved the BBQ flatbread. It was so delicious, even better than the fish tacos I got. The one thing I didn’t like about the fish was the sauce and the hard tortilla. It didn’t make for a great fish taco and I typically love those. This was our first time here for most of us. The service was immaculate. Seated right away and the waitress was very attentive and patient. We had a lot of kids with us since it was school vacation we decided to indulge in this experience. Overall we enjoyed ourselves and the food. Next time maybe we’ll make a different food choice.“
“Heather was extremely cheerful. She provided great service and was very patient with my 88 year old Dad who suffers from dementia. He enjoyed the homemade clam chowder and I enjoyed the oatmeal with banana 's and walnuts. Portions are very generous. Everything is freshly made and delicious. Never disappoints.“
“We went to dinner here on a Tuesday night and they were packed which was a great first sign (they must be good if they are that busy on a Tuesday). They still sat us right away. Our waitress was so sweet and attentive to us the whole time we were there. All of the food just blew us away! It was absolutely amazing and so full of flavor. I can not wait to get back over there again“
“3V always seems to be busy, but I feel like there may not be enough staff to keep up. Servers are very nice, just slow. That said the food was great - mussels and chicken cordon Bleu sandwich with crispy fries.Love the industrial feel of the bar area I 'd come back in the warmer weather to check out the patio.“
“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Rivershed in Killington, VT, and it was a fantastic experience. The food was exceptional, offering a creative and diverse menu that catered to a range of tastes. From the fresh seafood to the mouthwatering steaks, every dish was prepared with precision and care, showcasing the chef's culinary expertise. The service at Rivershed was top-notch, with the staff providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, offering excellent recommendations and ensuring that our dining experience was memorable. One of the highlights of the evening was the impressive beer menu. Rivershed boasts an extensive selection of craft beers, including local brews and international favorites. The variety of flavors and styles was truly impressive, and the staff was more than happy to provide guidance for those seeking the perfect beer to complement their meal.Overall, Rivershed is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates delicious food, exceptional service, and a stellar beer selection. I can't wait to return to indulge in more of their culinary delights and explore their ever-evolving beer offerings.“
“There for a wedding rehearsal after party. They had an assortment of finger food placed at each table, so if you were 15 minutes late, the plated appetizer food was cold. They brought out another round of food later but would of preferred waves of the food to enjoy it warm.Wheelchair accessibility: Brand new access.“
“Best clam chowder I have ever had! This is our 2nd year going for dinner at Cabby Shack. I had the clam chowder in their home made bread bowl and it was delicious. My husband and 3 girls loved their meals. We are definitely coming back again next year from NJ. Our waitress Erica was the best and gave us recommendations that we all loved - 10 stars for Erica!“
“Strictly for the bar pizza for take out! The pizza was take out as stated the laced cheese crust was spectacular and one nice and greasy pepperoni pie! I'll be back myself. Ma got the chicken quesadilla and loved it with no jalepenjo's. I may dine in at some point but for now I love the take out bar pizza!“
“As usual we had a lovely, well paced dinner. Sarah was attentive and did not rush us at all. We loved the scallops and steak tips...shared it as a Surf & Turf. I LOVE the mixed veggies. Mashed potatoes...a little dry. Desserts were great. LOVELY TIME !“
“Thank you to the staff and patrons for being so kind to us during our visits this weekend while our mother was receiving hospice care at Newfield House. And a very special thanks to the patron who realized our situation and played his bagpipes for us as a tribute to mom. You all warmed our hearts when we needed it most, and we thank you so very much. And the clam chowder and cranberry smash cocktails were delicious too!“
“Consistently good food with 'jolly green giant' portions. Good spot to split an entry as they are pricey. Fabulous bar and bartenders. Everyone was so accommodating from 'welcome'. It has a different vibe of a sports bar and a summertime get together after the beach. I will be back!“
“I gotta tell you, I can't vouch for their cocktails or beer selection yet, but I got some pics of the swanky marble and stainless steel taps and the booze assortment. I did try their clam chowder, and let me tell you, I went back for seconds a week later! It's gotta be the best chowder on the South Shore, no doubt! It's got more flavor and body than the usual Plymouth-area waterfront spots. And those fish tacos are seriously yummy. I scarfed mine down so fast, I forgot to snap a pic! The staff is super cool and passionate about what they do. The place itself has a chill vibe with smooth jazz, veined marble, corrugated metal, distressed wood, and cozy leather. It's a bummer I won't have a regular excuse to go back to this part of Duxbury now that winter sports clinics are winding down!“
