“We had never been here before, but I am so glad we gave it a try! The service was quick, super friendly, and went above and beyond. The food was absolutely delicious. I got the seafood platter and it wasn’t the slightest bit greasy, also came with a TON of food! We will definitely be coming back.“
“I’ve been coming here for years. Every Thursday for singo bingo. The food is always amazing. We always get catering when having parties. Always order our thanksgiving dinner from here so I don’t have to cook. The service is so good! Alyssa and Sarah are the best bartenders. Easy on the eyes!! All the staff have the best attitude.“
“The staff and the food is phenomenal! Worth driving there for a great nostalgic experienceParking: It gets busy and although they have a large parking lot so plan accordingly during high volume hoursWheelchair accessibility: Great access, right up front“
“This place was beyond amazing. The food is so good, the staff goes above and beyond to make sure you are taken care. Everything is neat and clean. The only thing is the place is a little small but if the got any bigger the wait times would be longer ... This place is “
“Best blueberry pancakes in the area. My companion had the western omelet enjoyed it greatly, said it was better than any he has had previously. We try breakfast restaurants in the Bridgewaters, Hanson, Kingston, Weymouth, Whitman, and Abington-Martins is a cut above the others.“
“Fishers is a nice place good food huge bar and nice friendly staff. I would consider myself a regular here and I have never been disappointed for any reason. The only thing I would say is the place is usually packed more often than not which is a testament to how good this joint is. I wish all places were good like this.Parking: Nice big lot but when it’s busy good luck finding a spot.“
“Very nice atmosphere, service was excellent and I was very impressed with the quality and presentation of our meals! The owner passed through the dining area a couple times greeting the customers and making sure we were satisfied. Will be returning for sure!“
“We used to come here nearly weekly, the we mived. Not far, but far enough not to go anymore. When we left, the restaurant had just changed hands and was trying hard to maintain the homey feeling the joint already had .We visited for the first time in two years on a weekday and I'm happy to say the have settled in nicely. We were even recognized by our waitress - which really was a great feeling. The food was really terrific, even though the kitchen was a bit backed up. Everything was hot, plentiful and delicious. And our waitress was delightful. Thanks, Anita Marie's!“
“Family got together for breakfast. Pancakes, waffles, French toast, Benedicts, eggs & more! Coffee was good, home fries were tasty but could have been a little crispier. Poached eggs & Hash was perfect! Loved the marbled rye. There were 8 of us - the service was good, kept the coffee coming & checked to be sure everything was okay. Great local place.“
“My wife and I stopped here on the way home from an errand and were glad we did. We loved everything about this restaurant. My wife had the Corsair Grilled Quesadillas with bacon which she loved. I had the Loaded Piper Cub roast beef sandwich and it was awesome. Large servings and the home made onion rings are well worth the couple extra bucks for a side. The only problem for us is that this place is a little too far away from our house to visit too regularly, but we will definitely be back.“
“I've been coming here with my grandparents since the early 2000's way before the renovation into the other part of the strip mall and I haven't been disappoints once by the food or service! The waitresses and owner are always welcoming and are always helpful while you're there eating. They deserve all of the customers they get and I plan on always coming during a weekend I come back home!If you haven't had a chance to try Alexander's yet I would highly recommend you give it a chance!Parking: Depending on the time you go, you will get your parking. If there is t any room in the strip mall parking area, there is always a side street to park on legally to go in and eat or pick up your food.“
“We got off the highway on our way to the Cape and lucked into this gem! If you get nostalgic and your mouth waters a little when I say "real diner breakfast", don't miss Apazidis - their 2-2-2 is the best breakfast I've had in YEARS.“
“I haven't been to Connie's Restaurant lately but when we went there for breakfast, we enjoyed their food & their wait staff. They took your order & they were very personable which in the field of working with the public is essential! We also liked that they were a small quaint place so that you felt like you were family.“
“I visited Towne Tavern for the first time last night and I had an amazing experience. The staff is incredibly friendly, from the hostess, to our server (I regrettably cannot remember her name) and even the manager, every single person in the restaurant was so kind. The food was 10/10 (got the Greek salad with grilled chicken and an appetizer, the burrata plate) great portion sizes, reasonable prices, an all around great experience. Thank you Towne Tavern I will definitely be back.“
“Wow...very surprised to go to Square Cafe in Hanover and find out it may be even better than Square Care in Hingham. Food was delicious, service was excellent and ambiance was cozy. The place was packed on a weeknight and it's easy to see why. This will be a "go to" place for us in the future.“
“I have heard people at my workplace talk about how this place is political and they don't feel welcome with the Blue Lives Matter flag, but I have never seen any of the staff be nasty here and for me I don't judge by what others say I judge it by my own experience with the food, service, and the atmosphere. And I would say I have never had a bad experience here. There was one time some guy let his kids take our scratch tickets but it didn't have to do with the restaurant just a couple bad apples in town. They'll get their karma The food here is consistently great, and the pizza is the best in town. The bartenders and waitresses here are also great and make us feel welcome. A great restaurant overall!“
“Incredible experience. Happened to be in the area while starving with my 2 year old son today.Service was fantastic and attentive. Food was wonderfully home made and fresh. To my surprise my son’s pancake was made in the shape of Mickey Mouse which was very thoughtful. I got chocolate chip pancakes and they fried the chocolate chips inside the pancake mix which I love! Can’t count how many places lazily just throw chocolate chips on top. With this great service and food, the icing on the cake was food is low priced. Because of my positive experience I tipped over 20% and still felt like I robbed the place. Would have happily paid/tipped more.“
“EXCELLENT! EXCELLENT! It Was Our First Time And We LOVED It! The Food Was Delicious !! Couldve Been Hotter In Temp But Still Delicious. The Menu Has 101 Meals To Choice From. Our Waitress CHRIS Was AMAZING! My Mother Has A Cane For Her Bad Knee The Waitress Chris Asked If My Mother Was Comfortable If Not She Can Move Us Which I Thought Was Extremely Nice Of Her. She Constantly Made Sure We Was Happy, Took Empty Plates Away As Needed. Her Vibe And Smile Was Contagious ❤️ Even Though We Were Fine On Our Own She Offered To Pack Our Food In The To-Go Plates Never In My Life Were We Ever Asked That Anywhere ? WE WILL BE BACK FOR SURE“
“Stopped in for the first time around 9:30 a.m. and ordered breakfast; eggs Florentine (shown). The portions were huge; the service was friendly and the atmosphere was cozy. It was surprisingly busy. Although prices seem to be high at first, they are comparable to other breakfast places. I enjoyed my breakfast there and will likely go back. Next time I will order a healthier option like multigrain pancakes with banana.“
“I really love coming to meadowbrook but their new steep pricing makes it out of my regular budget. $24 for country fried chicken, fries and slaw (as a special)? I understand food prices have gone up but they’re pricing out their regulars. I would come at least once a week but, for a family, it’s too much for that. Maybe if there was a reason, any entertainment, it would be a reason to bring the family. I feel like this spot could thrive with the right prices and events to bring the 30’s, 40’s and 50’s crowd in. I also think the function hall area is severely underused. Bingo, DJ, Trvia night, live bands—- bring us in! Or maybe they prefer to serve the older crowd and keep it quiet, that’s ok too- just doesn’t make me wanna pack up the kids to go and spend all that money.“
“My family and I went to the Riv last night to celebrate my late father’s birthday. We ended up having a much larger group than anticipated and our server Heather handled it like a complete professional. She went above and beyond in every way and made for a very special night. Thank you so much to Heather and the entire staff.“
“Driving up, my first impression was that the place was closed; the windows were dark and it was difficult to figure out which door was the entrance. The signage was confusing and had two business names including "O'Leary's Pub." We went in and the place was neat and well organized although somewhat dated and a bit worn down and old (sort of like most of the patrons the average age of which was probably 75). There was also an unused stage--damned shame since I love live music. BUT... To me, the food and the service matter the most since that's what we were there for! The server was very friendly and prompt, and we ordered a tuna melt and pot roast--both were delicious! So I'm giving this one 5 stars.“
“My husband & I were visiting our daughter in Whitman and decided to try this pub. We had the best time! The food was delicious (shepherd's pie)! Great service & a cozy spot. We loved the live music too (Bob Phillips). My husband felt like he was playing his CD collection! We'll definitely be back.“
“This was our first visit, and it came highly recommended. The staff was more than amazing. They were thorough and got everything right. They were friendly and welcoming. The food was amazing, and everyone cleared their plates. They sang for my sons birthday and made us all feel like regulars.Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free optionsKid-friendliness: They were amazing with our children. They have a kids' menu and sang happy birthday to my son.“
“Bongis is the Best!!! Not only is the food great but the people who work there are amazing.I went in yesterday with the plan to get the standard turkey sandwich and some potatoe wedges.. but the women who help me was so excited she suggested I try the new Turkey Meatball sub.. she promised I would love it.She was right, it was soooo good, i highly recommend it.“
“We get pizza here at least once a week. It's a comfort space, which I'm sure is the same for most in these parts, the pizza and service is always consistent too. Even with the recent ownership change. It's still The Central. Cannot beat the dine in pizza special and the best crust around.Parking: Parking can be a challenge, but it's an easy short walk“
“A neat little place. The chicken parm was overcooked, but it was mostly good otherwise and the dessert certainly made up for that. The dining room was nicely decorated, but noisy despite the average sized crowd. Something unique about this place is the open kitchen window where you can see your food prepared. I am sure I will be back, but I think I will try another entrée.Parking: The restaurant is free standing next to a shopping plaza, so there is plenty of parking to be found.Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs, and most of the tables had chairs that could be easily moved to accomodate a wheelchair.“
“We went to Sun Tavern, three weeks before Christmas with a bunch of old friends , hoping for some Christmas ambience and a great dinner with drinks in this old world historic Tavern. Unfortunately, our hopes were dashed as the Christmas decor and ambience was scant to non-existent, at best. Was the food good? Yes . Were the drinks. nice? Yes. Was the waitress, fun and attentive? Yes. Will we go back there next year for our annual Christmas cheer get-together to celebrate the beginning of the holidays in a fun & festive atmosphere? Probably not.“
“Went for the 1st. Time to royal pizza today my daughter and I both got a chicken cutlet and chicken Parm. Ooo and there backlava I have to say it was the best food I've ever had everything was fresh and real chicken not frozen. I will definitely take the 48 minute ride back there again that's how great the food was. Thank “
“I loved it here! My first time, food was great, service was great, and it's very clean in here. Our waitress was so nice and sweet too :) The french toast was BOMB definitely recommen. Food was nice and fresh, definitely will be coming back !!“
“Server was friendly and efficient.Great food and prices!Baked scallops, baked haddock and rib eye with potato and veg, each for about $23, unheard of!Portion size was plentiful and the food was fresh and hot with one exception.Vegetables weren’t hot but still tasty.Worth a return visit!“
“My husband and I go here a lot for breakfast. Portions are generous. We usually dont finish our omelets, so we take the rest home with us. They serve eggs cooked to order, omelets, waffles, french toast, pancakes. For lunch: soup, salad, sandwiches, burgers as well as offering homestyle-type entrees for lunch/early dinner. I believe they close around 3-ish, but you'll have to check their website. The dining area is clean and bright. Very, very friendly waitstaff.“
“My husband recently did plumbing here so being new to town my daughter and I wanted to try it out. It was PACKED. Although it was so busy, we were sat so quickly. I cant get over how fast our food came out. Our waitress was AMAZING. She was so sweet and lovely to my four year old daughter. Also the other staff, did not walk by us one time with empty hands. Always with food and dishes from pre bussing their tables. Such a well trained group at Grille 58! So lucky to have a great place right up the street!“
