“Recently took some friends to Towne Tavern. They were all excited to get the Viking Steak Sandwich. We get it every time we go, which is fairly often. So disappointed that it is not on the menu any longer. Also the Calamari is not on the menu. Don’t understand why it was removed. I was under the impression that it was a popular item.“

“First timer. Crowded but no wait. Had the feel of higher class Bickford's. I had a 5 eggwhite omelet with tomatoes feta and bacon. Excellent except the bacon was way undercooked. I did not alert the server. The server was a little robotic but friendly and very professional. The restrooms need updated. Yesterday.“

“The Square Cafe is now my go-to spot. Their bread pudding is the star - I'm still dreaming about it. The holiday cocktail menu is fun creative and festive. The Sesame Salmon is a masterpiece - perfectly seared with a crispy crust while staying tender inside. The spicy soy beurre blanc sauce and wakame seaweed salad create an amazing blend of flavors and textures. What makes this place truly special is the exceptional service. Sean, Amanda, and Jimmy created such a welcoming atmosphere for our party of 9. Jimmy didn't miss a beat and was very attentive. Sean & Amanda's friendly personalities made the experience even better. Thank you! Whether you're coming for the amazing bread pudding (which you absolutely should) or the delicious food and cocktails, their warm hospitality made our visit extra special. “Where do I start!? I am from upstate New York and visiting my dad and wife and made it a point to go to E/2 and enjoy the amazing food and atmosphere. Charlie, the owner made one mean expresso martini. Our waiter, Eric was exceptional and was attentive. The Chef, George did not disappoint! Best scallops I've ever had! Pan seared monk fish with risotto was absolutely divine. My boyfriend the carnivore, enjoyed the succulent and savory tasting ribs that fell right off the bone. Thank you yet again for the amazing meal and great service. We shall be back soon!“

“My husband and I had our wedding at TJ Smith's and it was a wonderful experience. They were always so quick to answer questions and assist us. They handled everything the day of and ensured our wedding was a huge success. We didn't have to worry or stress about a single thing. “Somewhere Else Tavern along Rte. 127 in Bryantville/Pembroke, Mass. I must say I've been at the building, since 2009 (15 years) when it was "Old School". It was a building then, a bar/restaurant of sorts, but now it is someplace special. Since Lori and Jayson, who also own the "Fork in the Road" delicatessen in Bryantville and the Olde Hitching Post restaurant in Hanson, took over the restaurant and renamed it, it is now a place for excellent food, beverages, and a wonderful, wonderful group of people, their patrons. What makes Somewhere Else truly special is that on almost every night, Jayson, Lori, or Lori's sister, Lee Ann, will be there taking care of their customers..... their friends. This past Sunday, was Lori's birthday and EVERYONE was included to celebrate her birthday, Chinese food (seemingly Lori's favorite), cake and ice cream shared with all. But best of all, was not the food, but the celebration of friendship.... Thank you Lori, Jayson and Lee Ann. For those of you who have not stopped by, do so. You'll enjoy your time at the Somewhere Else Tavern.“

“We held the Pembroke Council on Aging's Volunteer Luncheon there on April 14th. From the start of planning to the end of the event Debbie and her staff were on point. Debbie was very easy to work with and I would go back there in a heartbeat.“

“We went in at 5:45 on Saturday and got seated right away. Our server, Marina, was very friendly with a great sense of humor. She brought our drinks quickly and took our orders and brought our food out hot. We got the Smash burger and Cowboy burger and they were cooked just the way we asked. Looking forward to going back for the fancier entrees or one of the Saturday specials. Great job by all.“

“I’ll start with the positives: the food was excellent, the drinks and views were awesome, and even the wait wasn’t bad since the chairs were comfortable and you could grab a drink while waiting. That said, this is definitely not the best spot for a relaxing Saturday date night. There were so many unsupervised kids running wild that it completely killed the vibe. Three separate groups let their kids kick and throw dirt until they broke the landscape lights. Another child (maybe 5) spent nearly an hour standing knee-deep in the pond in her sneakers, again with zero supervision. I don’t mind kids being kids, but when they’re totally unsupervised and destroying property while parents just zone out, it’s a whole different level. Add to that kids jumping all over the dock, it was pure chaos.“

Things oftentimes get heated when my dad and I discuss things, and Holly was very good at giving us the space we needed when we needed it without sacrificing the proper amount of attention and service. ???
The food at Kevin's was surprisingly good, especially for the fact that I hadn't heard that before! I built my own omelet with jalapeños, feta, and onions. The home fries on the side were among the very best I've ever has! And Holly kept our coffee ☕️ filled to the brim!
I would have preferred the outdoor seating, but my dad doesn't really like sitting in the sun, so we ate indoors where I wasn't super-crazy about our spot only because it's such a quiet restaurant, and my dad gets angry with me and doesn't realize how loud he speaks when that happens.
I would definitely return to Kevin's fit a quiet, relaxing, very reasonably-priced meal. Next time with my wife, so there won't be any heated discussion! ?“

Most importantly, the food was delicious and a big hit with all of our guest. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. “I have to say every time I go to your restaurant, all I ever order is your fried chicken because it is the best I have ever had. I always order the four piece dinner so this way I have some to take home to eat the next day. I love it so much. But I have to say I was there yesterday July 1 and I finally decided to try something different and I tried your pizza and it was amazing. The crust was not too thick and not too thin and the sauce was really good. I’m Italian and I make my own homemade sauce and I have to say yours was very good. All the toppings were perfect just the right amount. Can’t wait to go back again and try something else on the menu even though I still love your chicken. Your staff is very friendly and attentive. It is worth the 40 minute drive to go and have your food. Looking forward to next time, thank you.“

“We recently got married at The Fireside and I cannot say enough wonderful things about the event coordinator, Kelly. She was knowledgeable and kind and really put so much into making sure our day was perfect! Our son is 3 and had a hard time with the busy day and she even went out of her way to get him candy rings for his "Ring Security" box and took him to see the trucks so he'd smile in photos. We are so appreciative of all of her efforts and highly recommend the Fireside for your next event!“
