“This is what a diner should be. Friendly staff and the chef's are happy. You can tell the food is made with love. I happened to be close, so I figured I would give it a try. I'm happy I did. I had an english muffin with bacon, egg, and cheese. The home fries are very good. They leave the skin on, which makes them extra tasty. I will definitely be back.“

“Tonight was my first time trying J's and let me tell you it will ABSOLUTELY not be the last. I have grown up in the cape cod/ southern MA area my whole life and I felt like I had tried most of the good bar style pizza places and somehow this one slipped through the cracks.We ordered 7 pizzas for a large group and everything came out PERFECTLY cooked. It didn't matter if the pizza had a bunch of toppings (gold fever chicken, pineapple, and bacon) or simply cheese, the crust was crispy, buttery and delicious, the cheese was perfectly browned and all of the ingredients were clearly high quality. We were nervous that all of the toppings on some may make it difficult to eat but each piece held its own and the ratios of everything were spot on!Not only was everything delicious but the prices are reasonable, the service was immaculate and everything about J's Flying Pizza has me wanting to come back for more. I hope if you are on the edge about trying this place you give it a chance. “When I placed my first food order, I found that the food was generally good. The crab rangoon is excellent. With just two shrimp for the sum I paid, I was a little let down by the pineapple rice. I wasn't able to savor the beef ribs as much as I would have liked because they were undercooked. Without any hesitation, I'll give them a second attempt at other dishes.“

“I tried the Venus Cafe for the first time today for takeout. I ordered a green pepper onion and mushroom pizza. I got there early and got it as soon as he popped it into the box, so there was no time for it to steam in the box. I usually have my dog with me, so that's why I get take-out a lot. A little bit of flop at the beginning due to it being piping hot and loaded with toppings. Tasted great, and the price was good. This place is one of the goats of this style of pizza, ssbp. The only complaint is that they use sliced toppings, not chopped. And that's just a personal preference due to years of thinking I took a clean bite of pizza, and then a chunk of blistering topping comes with it and tags me on the chin. Lol. I went to the takeout side and dealt directly with the cook, and he was very nice. I have no clue about the bar area, but friendly kitchen staff speaks volumes for a place. I'm slowly trying all the places that do this style of pizza in the area, and this one did not disappoint.“

They took your order & they were very personable which in the field of working with the public is essential! We also liked that they were a small quaint place so that you felt like you were family.“

The staff is incredibly friendly, from the hostess, to our server (I regrettably cannot remember her name) and even the manager, every single person in the restaurant was so kind. The food was 10/10 (got the Greek salad with grilled chicken and an appetizer, the burrata plate) great portion sizes, reasonable prices, an all around great experience. “Sashimi offers up some great value on Sundays with their 1/2 off sushi specials. They have a fairly large selection of unique rolls as well as the standards that you’d expect. All of the food we ordered was fresh and delicious. The volcano roll was a bit heavy, but was absolutely delicious. We also ordered shrimp tempura roll, Philadelphia roll, spider roll, mango roll, tamago, and sweet potato roll. Everything was high quality and fresh.The restaurant was clean and the servers were very attentive about our needs. I was surprised it wasn’t more busy with the sushi special, but we were seated immediately and it didn’t take long for our food to be prepared. They also offer a fairly large selection of Chinese food which we didn’t try. I’d definitely come back again and try more sushi options on a Sunday.“

Although prices seem to be high at first, they are comparable to other breakfast places. I enjoyed my breakfast there and will likely go back. “I have heard people at my workplace talk about how this place is political and they don't feel welcome with the Blue Lives Matter flag, but I have never seen any of the staff be nasty here and for me I don't judge by what others say I judge it by my own experience with the food, service, and the atmosphere. And I would say I have never had a bad experience here. There was one time some guy let his kids take our scratch tickets but it didn't have to do with the restaurant just a couple bad apples in town. They'll get their karma The food here is consistently great, and the pizza is the best in town. The bartenders and waitresses here are also great and make us feel welcome. A great restaurant overall!“

“What a lovely little diner/cafe! The food was excellent- I had an omelette with turkey, mushroom, avocado. All was fresh and great. They have sourdough toast which is really cool too. Their blueberry coffee is really nice. I enjoyed my stop in and will probably make it a tradition when I’m in the area.“

“My husband and I go here a lot for breakfast. Portions are generous. We usually dont finish our omelets, so we take the rest home with us. They serve eggs cooked to order, omelets, waffles, french toast, pancakes. For lunch: soup, salad, sandwiches, burgers as well as offering homestyle-type entrees for lunch/early dinner. I believe they close around 3-ish, but you'll have to check their website. The dining area is clean and bright. Very, very friendly waitstaff.“

I am in love with the house fried rice, the garlic broccoli dish, shrimp and mushrooms, beer battered green beans everything was amazing and fresh. I never had this fresh of food at any restaurant ever! The only complaint I can think of is they don't have salt on the table, you have to ask, but honestly the food is so good, you won't need it!
