“Hi Mal & Team! Visited Mal's for the first time this past Saturday after driving by so very many times! I am a breakfast fan so was very pleased with the Steak Bomb Omelet and the homemade Hash!! Took home enough for breakfast on Sunday. I was not only impressed with the QUALITY of your food...but the service and the atmosphere. I knew that when I stopped by and saw the wait that it would be good. Actually you moved your guests in and we did not even wait 15 minutes. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the hollandaise sauce was creamy and one of the best I've had!! The maple ham stacked on top of a really nicely buttered bread was incredible!! There is an ATM available on the side however. A true staple of Braintree, this pizza shop has been around for so long we've picked up orders with four generations in the car.“

“I have to say every time I go to your restaurant, all I ever order is your fried chicken because it is the best I have ever had. I always order the four piece dinner so this way I have some to take home to eat the next day. I love it so much. But I have to say I was there yesterday July 1 and I finally decided to try something different and I tried your pizza and it was amazing. The crust was not too thick and not too thin and the sauce was really good. I’m Italian and I make my own homemade sauce and I have to say yours was very good. All the toppings were perfect just the right amount. Can’t wait to go back again and try something else on the menu even though I still love your chicken. Your staff is very friendly and attentive. It is worth the 40 minute drive to go and have your food. Looking forward to next time, thank you.“

“I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant today. Their homemade corned beef hash was more like mashed potatoes and had no flavor. When I asked the server to take it off my bill, she refused, saying I'd eaten some of it. I was surprised by her response, especially given my background working in a 4-star restaurant, where we'd immediately remove an unsatisfactory dish from the bill. The server's failure to involve the manager and her argumentative tone made me feel uncomfortable. Despite my usual positive experiences here, today's visit was unfortunate. 😞😩“

The room was perfect, the food was awesome and there was plenty for everyone to have seconds( we did the casual lunch buffet with pizzas and two kinds of sandwiches). The price was beyond reasonable! Rose our bartender went above and beyond in making sure everyone was taken care of! And she made a great Bloody Mary! I highly recommend the Brook for your next function, I know we will be back for more get togethers in that great space. 10/10 all around for everything!!“
