“Every morning there's a "gentleman" sitting at the counter drinking coffee and playing KENO, rambling on openly about his political leanings. He has maximum opinions with minimal boundaries. Although ill informed he apparently has a strong need to feel like he's right , even if it means raising his voice. Fortunately, because he isn't eating, he's usually gone by 8:30am.... Which is a good thing because the food is top notch and affordable and the staff are great, professional and personable..... Best breakfast in Whitman after 8:30 😎👍 in my opinion...“

“my 2 friends and I went to Strawberry Fair restaurant yesterday. one friend we hadn't seen in years. we've known each other since we were 12. our hostess and waitress were excellent. we stayed over 2 hours reminiscing. They have a ton of varieties of bagels and cream cheese. The coffee is excellent with many choices of flavors. The selection of dairy and sweeteners was limited however. They should add almond milk for non dairy customers and sweeteners like Splenda and Stevia. Then they would achieve perfection. “I’ll start with the positives: the food was excellent, the drinks and views were awesome, and even the wait wasn’t bad since the chairs were comfortable and you could grab a drink while waiting. That said, this is definitely not the best spot for a relaxing Saturday date night. There were so many unsupervised kids running wild that it completely killed the vibe. Three separate groups let their kids kick and throw dirt until they broke the landscape lights. Another child (maybe 5) spent nearly an hour standing knee-deep in the pond in her sneakers, again with zero supervision. I don’t mind kids being kids, but when they’re totally unsupervised and destroying property while parents just zone out, it’s a whole different level. Add to that kids jumping all over the dock, it was pure chaos.“

If you can't find something to eat here, you really are trying to not to find something. The service, amazing! “I had a salad, and my daughter had a burger and fries. I feel like you can't really mess up a salad, but you can mess up fries. That's what happened to my daughter's meal.

We ordered for pickup and when it was time to eat. My toddler struggled to eat the fries, they were so overcooked and hard for her to chew.

Everything else was good, though. I just assumed we caught the line cooks on a bad day. But... Who knows?“

“I have been a customer of this pizza shop for longer than I'd like to admit. However, it has been a while. Retuning here for a quick lunch one day was a great choice. The food was about as close to perfect as you could want from a pizza place. The pizza had an excellent cheese to sauce ratio and the underside was cooked crispy without being burnt. The buffalo chicken on the salad was tender and plentiful. The fries were crispy and the chocolate chip cookies was dense, soft, full of chocolate chips and big enough to share. The customer service was also great. The inside has plenty of seating and is the expected pizza shop vibe with a nice view of the cranberry bogs. I'll keep coming back, and next time I won't wait so long before I do.“
