Service seemed slow. Waitress unfortunately dropped a full drink on my friend. She apologized profusely. We did feel that she should have had the manager come to our table. The drink was not taken off the bill nor was her meal comped. That was unfortunate and a teachable moment for the waitress. We did speak with the manager who gave our friend a gift card as she had already payed the full bill.“

Cute environment service was decent food was absolutely disappointing, ordered buffalo Mac and cheese it was so watery and tasteless I decided not to complain or send it back. When we were ready to leave the older waitress asks me if I wanted a box. I declined politely and was then asked if I was full???? Ummm no and as I’m trying to be polite you’re gonna make me insult the cooking anyway. SMH so I did so when I was then asked if I just did not like it. I replied absolutely not a d got the nastiest look. Lmao just a brief word of advice… when someone’s plate is still FULL of their meal and it’s pushed to the side MAKE THE CONNECTION instead of all the questions and ridiculous comments and also keeps your eye rolls to yourself. You can tell it’s all locals that rant there!“

“We held the Pembroke Council on Aging's Volunteer Luncheon there on April 14th. From the start of planning to the end of the event Debbie and her staff were on point. Debbie was very easy to work with and I would go back there in a heartbeat.“

The knowledge of the menu made our server make recommendations that made the meal even better. We had a one year old in our party and they made accommodations for us. We all plan to return here.“

“Somewhere Else Tavern along Rte. 127 in Bryantville/Pembroke, Mass. I must say I've been at the building, since 2009 (15 years) when it was "Old School". It was a building then, a bar/restaurant of sorts, but now it is someplace special. Since Lori and Jayson, who also own the "Fork in the Road" delicatessen in Bryantville and the Olde Hitching Post restaurant in Hanson, took over the restaurant and renamed it, it is now a place for excellent food, beverages, and a wonderful, wonderful group of people, their patrons. What makes Somewhere Else truly special is that on almost every night, Jayson, Lori, or Lori's sister, Lee Ann, will be there taking care of their customers..... their friends. This past Sunday, was Lori's birthday and EVERYONE was included to celebrate her birthday, Chinese food (seemingly Lori's favorite), cake and ice cream shared with all. But best of all, was not the food, but the celebration of friendship.... Thank you Lori, Jayson and Lee Ann. For those of you who have not stopped by, do so. “A friend and I got some food to go here a few weeks ago at night and I must say that the food was very good. It did take about 20 minutes for it to come but it was made when we ordered so I know it was fresh. The service was great also very kind people that work there. I have nothing but good things to say about this restaurant.“
