So disappointed that it is not on the menu any longer. Also the Calamari is not on the menu. Don’t understand why it was removed. I was under the impression that it was a popular item.“

“my 2 friends and I went to Strawberry Fair restaurant yesterday. one friend we hadn't seen in years. we've known each other since we were 12. our hostess and waitress were excellent. we stayed over 2 hours reminiscing. Then when we tried to take a selfie before we left and our waitress came outside and offered to take the picture. it came out great!! I highly recommend this restaurant.The food was delicious!!! “One of my favorite spots! Whenever I call, I get greeted with the same friendly and bubbly voice. They always remember my order (Greek salad with grilled chicken and no tomato) and its always perfect. The salad is so big I usually have it over two days, great spot!“

“I’ll start with the positives: the food was excellent, the drinks and views were awesome, and even the wait wasn’t bad since the chairs were comfortable and you could grab a drink while waiting. That said, this is definitely not the best spot for a relaxing Saturday date night. There were so many unsupervised kids running wild that it completely killed the vibe. Three separate groups let their kids kick and throw dirt until they broke the landscape lights. Another child (maybe 5) spent nearly an hour standing knee-deep in the pond in her sneakers, again with zero supervision. I don’t mind kids being kids, but when they’re totally unsupervised and destroying property while parents just zone out, it’s a whole different level. Add to that kids jumping all over the dock, it was pure chaos.“

“Stopped by today for a late breakfast. Truly amazing!! Chef Jerry He did an outstanding job constructing a culinary masterpiece of my favorite breakfast Eggs Benedict. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the hollandaise sauce was creamy and one of the best I've had!! The maple ham stacked on top of a really nicely buttered bread was incredible!! “Somewhere Else Tavern along Rte. 127 in Bryantville/Pembroke, Mass. I must say I've been at the building, since 2009 (15 years) when it was "Old School". It was a building then, a bar/restaurant of sorts, but now it is someplace special. Since Lori and Jayson, who also own the "Fork in the Road" delicatessen in Bryantville and the Olde Hitching Post restaurant in Hanson, took over the restaurant and renamed it, it is now a place for excellent food, beverages, and a wonderful, wonderful group of people, their patrons. What makes Somewhere Else truly special is that on almost every night, Jayson, Lori, or Lori's sister, Lee Ann, will be there taking care of their customers..... their friends. This past Sunday, was Lori's birthday and EVERYONE was included to celebrate her birthday, Chinese food (seemingly Lori's favorite), cake and ice cream shared with all. But best of all, was not the food, but the celebration of friendship.... Thank you Lori, Jayson and Lee Ann. For those of you who have not stopped by, do so. “My husband and I got married at Barrett's Olde Scotland Links this past September. Although it was a rainy day, nothing stopped us from having fun! Everyone loved the food and drinks. We had a specialty cocktail for guests which was a tequila lemonade with edible blue glitter and blueberries. It was so incredibly good. Then for dinner we had Burrata sweet corn ravioli (my favorite) breaded chicken, and veggies. We had several passed apps, my favorite being the Chrizo Rissoto balls (delish!).

We opted to get married under the tent, which Im SO grateful we did since it rained. The tent was gorgeous and such a vibe.

Allison Kmetz was our coordinator and was AMAZING. She was able to help my husband and I every step of the way. From answering emails, to providing multiple opportunities for food tastings, to day of setup and breakdown.

The prices were also so affordable. We had an amazing day and didnt have to stress about taking out loans, or maxing out credit cards. Barretts is truly an affordable place, but provides an exceptional experience! 10/10 recommend for future brides!“

“I uprooted from the South Coast area 5 years ago & landed in the Abington area. There are many lovely places around the area to eat but I can say no one place has ever prompted me to write a review till now. My fiance & I ate here less than a month ago & were back this week as we kick off 2026. We eat out about twice a week & this is by Far our favorite spot! After our 2nd visit, we left & couldn't stop raving to each other. We are so impressed with the food, staff, prices, drinks & I'd like to say staff, again, lol! We haven't yet had an opportunity to look into the entertainment but Ben's is on our list! HIGHLY recommend!!“

“I have to say every time I go to your restaurant, all I ever order is your fried chicken because it is the best I have ever had. I always order the four piece dinner so this way I have some to take home to eat the next day. I love it so much. But I have to say I was there yesterday July 1 and I finally decided to try something different and I tried your pizza and it was amazing. The crust was not too thick and not too thin and the sauce was really good. I’m Italian and I make my own homemade sauce and I have to say yours was very good. All the toppings were perfect just the right amount. Can’t wait to go back again and try something else on the menu even though I still love your chicken. Your staff is very friendly and attentive. It is worth the 40 minute drive to go and have your food. Looking forward to next time, thank you.“

She was knowledgeable and kind and really put so much into making sure our day was perfect! Our son is 3 and had a hard time with the busy day and she even went out of her way to get him candy rings for his "Ring Security" box and took him to see the trucks so he'd smile in photos. We are so appreciative of all of her efforts and highly recommend the Fireside for your next event!“
