Each time the food was raved about and what was ordered varied from pastries, salads, pizza, pasta dishes to chicken and sausage platters. They were wonderful to work with and appreciative of the business! They even helped me load the food in my car which was so kind. Please consider them for your next catering event!“

“my 2 friends and I went to Strawberry Fair restaurant yesterday. one friend we hadn't seen in years. we've known each other since we were 12. our hostess and waitress were excellent. we stayed over 2 hours reminiscing. Then when we tried to take a selfie before we left and our waitress came outside and offered to take the picture. it came out great!! I highly recommend this restaurant.The food was delicious!!! The Sesame Salmon is a masterpiece - perfectly seared with a crispy crust while staying tender inside. The spicy soy beurre blanc sauce and wakame seaweed salad create an amazing blend of flavors and textures. What makes this place truly special is the exceptional service. Sean, Amanda, and Jimmy created such a welcoming atmosphere for our party of 9. Jimmy didn't miss a beat and was very attentive. Sean & Amanda's friendly personalities made the experience even better. Thank you! “Recently took some friends to Towne Tavern. They were all excited to get the Viking Steak Sandwich. We get it every time we go, which is fairly often. So disappointed that it is not on the menu any longer. Also the Calamari is not on the menu. Don’t understand why it was removed. I was under the impression that it was a popular item.“

“We held the Pembroke Council on Aging's Volunteer Luncheon there on April 14th. From the start of planning to the end of the event Debbie and her staff were on point. Debbie was very easy to work with and I would go back there in a heartbeat.“

“I’ll start with the positives: the food was excellent, the drinks and views were awesome, and even the wait wasn’t bad since the chairs were comfortable and you could grab a drink while waiting. That said, this is definitely not the best spot for a relaxing Saturday date night. There were so many unsupervised kids running wild that it completely killed the vibe. Three separate groups let their kids kick and throw dirt until they broke the landscape lights. Another child (maybe 5) spent nearly an hour standing knee-deep in the pond in her sneakers, again with zero supervision. I don’t mind kids being kids, but when they’re totally unsupervised and destroying property while parents just zone out, it’s a whole different level. Add to that kids jumping all over the dock, it was pure chaos.“

“Somewhere Else Tavern along Rte. 127 in Bryantville/Pembroke, Mass. I must say I've been at the building, since 2009 (15 years) when it was "Old School". It was a building then, a bar/restaurant of sorts, but now it is someplace special. Since Lori and Jayson, who also own the "Fork in the Road" delicatessen in Bryantville and the Olde Hitching Post restaurant in Hanson, took over the restaurant and renamed it, it is now a place for excellent food, beverages, and a wonderful, wonderful group of people, their patrons. What makes Somewhere Else truly special is that on almost every night, Jayson, Lori, or Lori's sister, Lee Ann, will be there taking care of their customers..... their friends. This past Sunday, was Lori's birthday and EVERYONE was included to celebrate her birthday, Chinese food (seemingly Lori's favorite), cake and ice cream shared with all. But best of all, was not the food, but the celebration of friendship.... Thank you Lori, Jayson and Lee Ann. For those of you who have not stopped by, do so. “My husband and I got married at Barrett's Olde Scotland Links this past September. Although it was a rainy day, nothing stopped us from having fun! Everyone loved the food and drinks. We had a specialty cocktail for guests which was a tequila lemonade with edible blue glitter and blueberries. It was so incredibly good. Then for dinner we had Burrata sweet corn ravioli (my favorite) breaded chicken, and veggies. We had several passed apps, my favorite being the Chrizo Rissoto balls (delish!).

We opted to get married under the tent, which Im SO grateful we did since it rained. The tent was gorgeous and such a vibe.

Allison Kmetz was our coordinator and was AMAZING. She was able to help my husband and I every step of the way. From answering emails, to providing multiple opportunities for food tastings, to day of setup and breakdown.

The prices were also so affordable. We had an amazing day and didnt have to stress about taking out loans, or maxing out credit cards. Barretts is truly an affordable place, but provides an exceptional experience! 10/10 recommend for future brides!“

“The best Teriyaki Chicken Bowl I’ve ever had, highly recommend this if you come here. Service was incredible extremely fast within 15 minutes after ordering for a table of 14. Noise level is perfect you can hear everything not too quiet not to loud. Plenty of seating with a variety of seating options. Bathrooms are clean and well maintained handicap accessible.“

“Listen the only reason I can see someone leaving a bad review is if you got your butt kicked in a game of connect four against the bartender and your salty about it. Honestly the food and drink is on point! Especially the chicky tendies and shoestring French fries! Every food item I have ate has been fantastic though. Sam, Kim and everyone involved are great. I am assuming any negative reviews are from patrons who caused the problem. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Highly recommend!
