“my 2 friends and I went to Strawberry Fair restaurant yesterday. one friend we hadn't seen in years. we've known each other since we were 12. our hostess and waitress were excellent. we stayed over 2 hours reminiscing. Then when we tried to take a selfie before we left and our waitress came outside and offered to take the picture. it came out great!! I highly recommend this restaurant.The food was delicious!!! “Recently took some friends to Towne Tavern. They were all excited to get the Viking Steak Sandwich. We get it every time we go, which is fairly often. So disappointed that it is not on the menu any longer. Also the Calamari is not on the menu. Don’t understand why it was removed. I was under the impression that it was a popular item.“

“I’ll start with the positives: the food was excellent, the drinks and views were awesome, and even the wait wasn’t bad since the chairs were comfortable and you could grab a drink while waiting. That said, this is definitely not the best spot for a relaxing Saturday date night. There were so many unsupervised kids running wild that it completely killed the vibe. Three separate groups let their kids kick and throw dirt until they broke the landscape lights. Another child (maybe 5) spent nearly an hour standing knee-deep in the pond in her sneakers, again with zero supervision. I don’t mind kids being kids, but when they’re totally unsupervised and destroying property while parents just zone out, it’s a whole different level. Add to that kids jumping all over the dock, it was pure chaos.“

I did not alert the server. The server was a little robotic but friendly and very professional. The restrooms need updated. Yesterday.“

“Somewhere Else Tavern along Rte. 127 in Bryantville/Pembroke, Mass. I must say I've been at the building, since 2009 (15 years) when it was "Old School". It was a building then, a bar/restaurant of sorts, but now it is someplace special. Since Lori and Jayson, who also own the "Fork in the Road" delicatessen in Bryantville and the Olde Hitching Post restaurant in Hanson, took over the restaurant and renamed it, it is now a place for excellent food, beverages, and a wonderful, wonderful group of people, their patrons. What makes Somewhere Else truly special is that on almost every night, Jayson, Lori, or Lori's sister, Lee Ann, will be there taking care of their customers..... their friends. This past Sunday, was Lori's birthday and EVERYONE was included to celebrate her birthday, Chinese food (seemingly Lori's favorite), cake and ice cream shared with all. But best of all, was not the food, but the celebration of friendship.... Thank you Lori, Jayson and Lee Ann. For those of you who have not stopped by, do so. You'll enjoy your time at the Somewhere Else Tavern.“

“My husband and I got married at Barrett's Olde Scotland Links this past September. Although it was a rainy day, nothing stopped us from having fun! Everyone loved the food and drinks. We had a specialty cocktail for guests which was a tequila lemonade with edible blue glitter and blueberries. It was so incredibly good. Then for dinner we had Burrata sweet corn ravioli (my favorite) breaded chicken, and veggies. We had several passed apps, my favorite being the Chrizo Rissoto balls (delish!).

We opted to get married under the tent, which Im SO grateful we did since it rained. The tent was gorgeous and such a vibe.

Allison Kmetz was our coordinator and was AMAZING. She was able to help my husband and I every step of the way. From answering emails, to providing multiple opportunities for food tastings, to day of setup and breakdown.

The prices were also so affordable. We had an amazing day and didnt have to stress about taking out loans, or maxing out credit cards. Barretts is truly an affordable place, but provides an exceptional experience! 10/10 recommend for future brides!“

It is so rare to receive this level of customer service. The ladies that have taken my order in the front went above and beyond. They made my day with how sweet and outgoing they were. I have gotten the Mayflower sandwich a few times and it is hands down the best turkey sandwich I have had. It is addicting! We also have made dinner at home using their frozen ravioli and Italian sausages. Quality and taste was unreal. I will recommend this place over and over again to anyone who will listen.“

The flavors were great and cooked to perfection. The sauces were all great as well! 1000% recommend. I’ve had most of the bbq places in Massachusetts and it’s the best hands down.“
