Recently took some friends to Towne Tavern. They were all excited to get the Viking Steak Sandwich. We get it every time we go, which is fairly often. So disappointed that it is not on the menu any longer. Also the Calamari is not on the menu. Don’t understand why it was removed. I was under the impression that it was a popular item.
Went to Towne Tavern with my boyfriend and his family. We were seated right away, which was great—but unfortunately, that’s where the good experience ended.
It took a while for our waitress to come over for drinks, and after that she disappeared for about 20 minutes before taking our food order. We ordered both apps and entrees. The apps came out quickly, but our main meals took about an hour.

Food & Service is always amazing! Was I there this past Saturday with a couple of girls friends and a gentleman sitting beside us had a medical emergency. Jerry our waitress jumped right in and prioritized the safety of the gentleman and sat with him on the floor until medical help arrived. Then she hoped right back up once he was safely taken away and was on top of everything we needed. Can’t say enough about our experience.
