“Monstah Burgers doesn’t do this justice. Got a portobello mushroom burger on focaccia bread and it was simply awesome. My son got a Texas Toast Burger melt and my other son the classic burger. “Our party of 20 had an excellent dining experience. Our waitress was hands down incredible! She was pleasant and not a bit flustered or overwhelmed. I was expecting a decent wait for our food considering the large size of our party but I was pleasantly surprised! We had 3 large tables and each table had drinks at the same time, all 3 tables had our appetizers at the same time, and all 3 tables had our food brought out at the same time. That alone is impressive, but the wait was no longer than you would normally expect. The food was great and hot. 20 meals and not a single complaint! “I'll admit it -- we are those people. The ones who weren't going to go out on Valentine's Day until we decided we were. And it turns out we weren't the only ones. The place is frequented by regulars for sure with a bar on one side and a slightly more formal sit down dining room on the other. When we arrived we waited for about 10 minutes and were seated at a high top near the bar area. During this time another couple got frustrated with the single waitress to be seen after she dropped off some food to them. This couple was not empathetic at all and then expressed that to the waitress in a condescending tone on what was probably one of the busiest nights there. The same woman was our waitress and it was clear she was running around from dining room to bar room without a single moment to catch her breath. She did great! Obviously the kitchen was swamped too but we knew to adjust our expectations accordingly for timing. Food was delicious, incredible value. Calamari was a generous portion and could definitely be a small family appetizer on its own. My husband commented that you will not find a steak for less than $35 in the area and I think this one was $25 or so? Truffle fries were excellent. I got the bolognese and it was comforting and a big portion. We'll definitely come back on a less busy night but overall it was a good experience!“

“Driving up, my first impression was that the place was closed; the windows were dark and it was difficult to figure out which door was the entrance. The signage was confusing and had two business names including "O'Leary's Pub." We went in and the place was neat and well organized although somewhat dated and a bit worn down and old (sort of like most of the patrons the average age of which was probably 75). There was also an unused stage--damned shame since I love live music. BUT... To me, the food and the service matter the most since that's what we were there for! The server was very friendly and prompt, and we ordered a tuna melt and pot roast--both were delicious! So I'm giving this one 5 stars.“
“Does Joe's really need an introduction? It's been the same small coffee/breakfast joint for like 60 years, there must be a reason. The owners are basically your grandparents, except they can cook better than them. (Even if you don't want to admit it.) They are super friendly and won't hesitate to tell you their story.
