“September 2023-Don't miss this small local place for great food. There is limited parking but within walking distance of street parking. They have a large bar and booth seating. We didn't have to wait long since it was off season. We both began with the clam chowder. The clams were shredded which we had never had and it made the chowder lovely. Best we had on our vacation. I got the a cod fish Reuben on grilled marble rye bread. It had thousand island dressing and was served with coleslaw and skin on fries. Their dill pickles were homemade. My husband got the brisket grilled cheese with tater tots. It's served with brown gravy to dip the sandwich in. The sandwich was overloaded with brisket, so very filling. Service was great.“
“This dining experience was wonderful! The meal was amazing-eclectic and well executed. The staff were very attentive and accommodating. The owner was very warm and personable. We had the cod special and crispy fried statler chicken breast. Both of the dishes were so delicious and made so creatively! The wine list was wonderful and the desserts were delicious as well. We look forward to return.“
“Food was yummy & fast. Little on the expensive side, if your planning on drinking (per usual). For just 3 sandwiches it was $18, the 3 alcoholic drinks totaled $60. I will say the two bloody Mary's came with shrimp, olives, bacon & celery. Would definitely visit again?“
“Everything was amazing but my waitress was super amazing. Jackie is simply amazing she made good recommendations she was friendly she checked in just so pleasant.Food was worth every penny. It was my birthday I wish they did something special but “
“I have been meaning to check out this local restaurant and visited during a fundraiser they graciously held for my children’s school. It is run by a great family, has a fun, family friendly atmosphere, the food was amazing and the staff was incredibly fun and kind. You will not be disappointed!“
“The seafood platter for two was awesome had that yesterday. Today had the whole belly clam roll and the hot buttered lobster roll. Both were great but I think the cold mayo lobster roll is better. Now back to Ky and no seafood but I will return next year snd dine here again.“
“Best Mexican food! Fresh, from-scratch ingredients, hands-on owner (Mike) + knowledgeable staff. From the incredible guac + pico to the authentic house-made corn tortillas, this place is 5 star!! Highly recommend the bbq brisket and the shrimp tacos but seriously, everything is a great choice. Tons of gluten free options and I totally appreciate the fresh lime instead of sour mix in their margs. Jefes came recommended by several word of mouth reviews from colleagues and friends and we will continue the chain to spread the word!!“
“For local ambiance and well-prepared seafood, head to 42° North. Great dishes (and you need a good appetite as the portions are quite generous) are the Atlantic Cioppino, with a really well made tomato broth and variety of shellfish and fish, and the Barcelonan Seafood Paella, also with a rich tomato sauce. They could have better wines and also they lack draft beers and ales, which is the reason I only give them a "4" rating. Go for the food, not the dinner beverages! And, oh, the melted chocolate cake dessert we shared amongst 4 of us - it's also plenty big.“
“Great local restaurant and great deal. WALK TO THE EAST END OF THE RESTAURANT. During a weekday, the other doors were locked. We lucked out and came on 50 cent wing day. Shanty rub is the best choice for wings. They get the skin on the wings perfectly crispy. Awesome place to come from a boat, as you can see the docks. Staff was wonderful.“
“Loved the BBQ flatbread. It was so delicious, even better than the fish tacos I got. The one thing I didn’t like about the fish was the sauce and the hard tortilla. It didn’t make for a great fish taco and I typically love those. This was our first time here for most of us. The service was immaculate. Seated right away and the waitress was very attentive and patient. We had a lot of kids with us since it was school vacation we decided to indulge in this experience. Overall we enjoyed ourselves and the food. Next time maybe we’ll make a different food choice.“
“Pretty quiet but service is super quick and fix any sort of problems with food/drinksStaff is some of the nicest, even in the later hours. Food is some of the best for low budget family restaurant, I recommend the bread bites and campfire sauce!!French fry seasoning is so good I want to buy some for myself at home.Kid-friendliness: Has kids menu and drawing mats and crayons to keep kids distracted, also balloons!“
“Every time I go I get wonderful service. The selection of teas ice or cold are always great. The food has been fresh . It's a nice bright place with a counter that faces outside,a few tables that seats four and a couch area. I have had no trouble with WI-FI .“
“My husband and I go here a lot for breakfast. Portions are generous. We usually dont finish our omelets, so we take the rest home with us. They serve eggs cooked to order, omelets, waffles, french toast, pancakes. For lunch: soup, salad, sandwiches, burgers as well as offering homestyle-type entrees for lunch/early dinner. I believe they close around 3-ish, but you'll have to check their website. The dining area is clean and bright. Very, very friendly waitstaff.“
“Everything about this place is good: food, service, cocktails, prices, atmosphere. They basically hit on all cylinders just about every time. Everything the chef touches (possibly even looks at) is amazing. I’ve never had anything there that I didn’t like, and that includes things that I don’t like (not a fish fan, but he found a way to make me appreciate it). There are only so many compliments I can give before a review becomes unabashed, gushing adoration, so I will simply say: Try it.“
“We often meet friends here as its a good half way point. Service is always good. Food is mixed bag; clam chowder & stuffed sole meal were great, my cousin ate everything but the turkey on the turkey meal saying it didn’t taste right.….as a Gluten Free diner there are very few options other than salads. I ended up with a bacon wrapped scallops appetizer @ $22 for 5, & had to pay $$ for sides of asparagus & potatoes. The raw oysters were fresh, but were served with sauces in PLASTIC CONTAINERS. Head scratcher when one looks at the environmental waste & impact on ocean life, especially for a seafood restaurantMAKE RESERVATIONS!Parking: Always difficult during tourist season. Off season there is free self parking and valet parking in front of restaurant“
“Thank you to the staff and patrons for being so kind to us during our visits this weekend while our mother was receiving hospice care at Newfield House. And a very special thanks to the patron who realized our situation and played his bagpipes for us as a tribute to mom. You all warmed our hearts when we needed it most, and we thank you so very much. And the clam chowder and cranberry smash cocktails were delicious too!“
“3V always seems to be busy, but I feel like there may not be enough staff to keep up. Servers are very nice, just slow. That said the food was great - mussels and chicken cordon Bleu sandwich with crispy fries.Love the industrial feel of the bar area I 'd come back in the warmer weather to check out the patio.“
“Went to Mamma Mia's in the Pinehills after taking our granddaughter to see Santa and it was an excellent end to our day. We sat in the bar area and the service was outstanding. Both my wife and I ordered saltimbocca (me veal, her chicken). The food was delicious and the portions big enough that we each had a second meal left! The bartender was efficient and accurate in our order. She checked on us several times to make sure all our needs were taken care of. My wife had a martini and said it was well made.Parking: Not sure of number of spots but we had no problem finding parking on a Saturday afternoon.“
“they're horrible at taking orders , in the past 5 months not sure if new owner new cooks, or just the lack of training but the food it trash ! I used to love this place but either they mess up on the pizza it's cardboard box nasty flat and the subs are so filled with meat ( turkey) it's falling out the sides breaking the whole roll itself barely any lettuce or pickles! last time I got a turkey sub the bread was hard as a rock and it had barley any turkey meat , what is going on with this place !?! they're rude when you order and it's a pickup waste of my gas for sure and money I won't be ordering again this place went room 5 star to zero lost a great customer get your crap together honestly why are you packing rhe sub with one much meat for it to just fall out that's such a lack of effort horrible service and they don't ever take accountability EVER!!“
“Mike the bar manager was very personable. Drinks were amazing. We had a table for 6 and we didn't feel crowded. Tips and short ribs were plentiful and flavorful. Seafood stew special had plenty of fish and the salmon dishes were cooked to perfection. We will definitely be coming back.“
“Strictly for the bar pizza for take out! The pizza was take out as stated the laced cheese crust was spectacular and one nice and greasy pepperoni pie! I'll be back myself. Ma got the chicken quesadilla and loved it with no jalepenjo's. I may dine in at some point but for now I love the take out bar pizza!“
“We Had The Sunday Turkey Dinners, Mashed Potatoes, Corn, Cranberry Sauce & Soda's. Very Good, Better Lighting & Seating At Plymouth Than At Pembroke. Great Waitress, Check On Us For Refills. I Just Wish That They Had At 1 TV Without March Madness College Basketball.“
“Wings and beer what more in life could one ask for. Been to the speedwell a few times and everytime has been a good time. Have yet to have bad wings or even mediocre wings here, they are always hot and cooked to the perfect crispness? Idk autocorrect didn't mind that one so I'll wing it. Yah it's a hidden gem in plymouth for wings and craft beer. Top notch selection of both.“
“Best food I've had in a long time. Excellent from start to finish, great wine list too. Restaurant is clean and rustic, few frills but had an antique charm to it. I highly recommend the cider donut holes and the duck! The clam chowder is a neat "disassembly" of typical New England chowder, with bacon and fried clams and potato served over/in a bowl of chowder proper. It could easily be a small meal unto itself. It's clear the chef had fun with that one!Staff were friendly and welcoming. Reservations were easy to make. It's clear the Tavern is lovingly kept. The road leading to it is heinous, so drive carefully. There are more potholes and bumps in that road than a Boston street after a whole winter of plowing.Parking: Dirt and gravel lot, plenty of room for the size of the restaurant.“
“Your bartender Lisa and Manny & Barback Danny are AMAZING. Top NOTCH service. Amazing. I manage restaurants and resorts and these individuals. The way they work a crowd is amazing. You. Should be PROUD to have such a professional/Likeable “
“Best clam chowder I have ever had! This is our 2nd year going for dinner at Cabby Shack. I had the clam chowder in their home made bread bowl and it was delicious. My husband and 3 girls loved their meals. We are definitely coming back again next year from NJ. Our waitress Erica was the best and gave us recommendations that we all loved - 10 stars for Erica!“
“i love going to this locatio. They're always very nice, attentive and efficient. I probably go for shakes a couple times per month and sit down to have dinner maybe 1-2x per month. It's one of my first choices as I'm not a drinker and prefer the simplicity of an old fashioned ice cream diner. My literal only complaint is that the company removed the reuben from their menu and replaced it with something similar but not nearly as good. Hopefully they'll reconsider in the near future.“
“I am giving five stars because of the service we received at the bar this past Saturday evening. We only had cocktails which were made by Morgan and they were so tasty, I highly recomment the dirty Martini!! Although it was extremely busy we never had to wait for a refill and Morgan was by far one of the hardest working bartenders I have ever seen. She literally was running the bar solo and was absolutely crushing it.“
“Great food and specialty cocktails Service was good. The plate presentation is beautiful. The chicken Santorini never disappoints. Lamb kabobs very tender and cooked perfect. They ran out of clams so a burger was ordered and my hubby said it was one of the best he had. Their regular Greek salad was phenomenal. One of us ordered a salad on special and it was rather odd was underwhelming. Ginormous Ice berg wedges with the apples and Gorgonzola cheese covered up and stuffed in the center with the tiniest serving of dressing. I would highly recommend and we'd go back and just stay clear of a supposed fancy salad special. Very small and cozy inside and a great spacious patio in the summer.“
“Absolutely Delicious! From the wonderful soft/buttery bread, fresh sushi, and yummy calamari to the Lucious molten lava cake, our experience was top notch. My filet was cooked perfectly, my husband loved the orange bourbon sauce on his Giant pork chop and our friends devoured their salmon atop an Amazing crab/shrimp/wasabi rice. Great service, Beautiful atmosphere. Can’t wait to go back! 10/10!“
“I popped in last Saturday and instantly fell in love with everything (white noise cocktal=HELL YES) to the totally lovely staff that took care of us during a hasty retreat out (boooooo!). NeverMIND how dope the food was. My reason to come down to Plymouth went up in smoke, but I WILL BE BACK ❤️“
